Bumpity bump bump. Was hoping it'd have gone through by now. Up $23 a coin now since I requested cashout.
12-11-2015 , 12:20 PM
been more than 26 hours.

and finally received...after 26hours

to all those who think wpn withdrawal takes 24hrs at most. you are wrong.

im a loyal member of wpn network who gets ITM almost every week in the sit and crush leaderboard who rakes thousands every week.

and feel betrayed with the the promised timeline of 24hrs.

should i not?
12-11-2015 , 12:31 PM
Can you link the 24 hour promise?
12-11-2015 , 12:43 PM
Last time I checked the website said "next business day" iirc.

I've had it take as little as 4 hours and as many as 48ish. If a live support rep told you 24 hours and it ended up being 26 I'd say feeling "betrayed" is a bit over the top.

Edit:

This is irrelevant IMHO. I don't care whether you rake more than TheGreenSmoothie or you rake $5/month, you should get the same treatment with regards to cash outs.
12-11-2015 , 01:06 PM
I understand that it does not matter whether you rake more or less a week to get the same treatment of withdrawal process timeline.

But to see the site processed most transactions faster than 24hours for other players withdrawals and not even update the players that will be receiving it later.

I just feel frustrated when the support mentioned it was going to take within 24hours for my cashouts to be successfully processed when it took longer.i did seek live chat support after 18hours since my requested cashout.

For you, 2hours may not mean much. It is to me when my supermarket close at 10pm.

Mind disclosing the amount? I'm still waiting on mine. Part of me thinks they're gaming the volatility.

Up $27 a coin from time of withdrawal. 5 coins = $135USD that I might be losing out on.

I get that. What 2 hours mans to me you have no idea. If I was in no rush I would be mildly bothered by it. If I was in a rush I'd be annoyed. If I had a deadline it was infringing on I'd be very irritated.

I get being frustrated, don't blame you. You asked the question if you should feel "betrayed" though, and in no case would I use that word over a 2 hour difference. Irritated sure. Frustrated yes. Betrayed, not so much. Don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer.

I feel betrayed because live chat rep told me the transaction will take within 24hrs.

Fair enough. In my experiences, it's a competence issue with first level live support than an issue of betrayal or deceit or dishonesty.

This is what I do not like about this situation:

I have absolutely no idea what my cashout value is going to be converted at and that leaves some mistrust as the service can easily cash in on volatility of the bitcoin price (increased ~8% since time of withdrawal) over the course of 48 hours if they wanted to.

Received.

Cashed out at current price.

My first 2 bitcoin withdrawals took less than 4 hours each, going on 24 hours now and I was a little concerned if I had did something wrong, check this thread and it looks like everyone is having slower cashouts. I'll post when I finally receive, I'm not complaining just the bar was set so high off the bat.

BTC withdrawal requested via BCP 12/13 1PMEST

Received 12/14 2pm

THANK YOU.

Coin, no disrespect but, are you really complaining about your cashout being off a few dollars due to BTC volatility? Come on man, this is as good as it can get really. Fast ass withdrawals = more motivation to play better.

I don't know if ~$150 difference is a 'few' dollars... but yes?

I was very happy with my next withdrawal of $900 that went through the same day though. Big props for that one.

Took slightly less than 72 hours to complete. But it's still faster than any other cashout processes available.

If you are running such a tight budget that you need a bitcoin withdrawal from an online poker site to buy groceries before 10pm, you have far bigger problems on your plate (pun intended).

It doesn't matter what your cashout value is converted at. If bitcoin is $1,000 a coin or $10 a coin, you still get the exact amount of bitcoins necessary to meet the size of your withdrawal request.

If you think they are sitting there praying the price of bitcoin goes up and they can make money off of your transaction, think again. Bitcoin could just as easily go DOWN and they could be out money.

Transactions simply take time to process. Maybe one day they have your funds on hand, and maybe the next the guy in line before you wants 25k of bitcoin and they have to dip into "cold storage" to get your withdrawal. That obviously will take time. Furthermore, bitcoin withdrawals are not processed 24h a day nor 7 days a week.

One day you may have slippage that goes against you, and the next it may go in your favor. It will all work out in the end as you grow a larger sample size from all of your profitable play on WPN as a winning player. Buck up! It's a brave new world and these bitcoin withdrawals are the nuts!
