Re: Bitcoin Deposits and Withdraws

infrequent player since about a year ago. made 2 deposits and this is my first withdrawal.

2/11
-request btc withdrawal

2/13
-haven't received an email and only have a screenshot as record of withdrawal
-figure out that I need to click "withdraw" and find the tiny font "transaction history" link to check status
-withdrawal is "pending verify information"
-email ACR support, they tell me to send some information to a cashier email address, which I do

2/14
-withdrawal processed, btc in wallet

a bit unsettling that there was no verification email and I had to email support before they instructed me about account verification. one the cashout was processed I had the money quickly.

Re: Bitcoin Deposits and Withdraws

Has anyone gotten a w/d through since the cashiers been down? Mine wasn't working then it came up for a few hours and It let me w/d but I still haven't received the btc. Its only been ~24-36 hours but usually during weekdays I've gotten them same day and I can't access my cashier again.

Any Canadians have any good recommendations instead of QuadrigaCX to withdraw money for Canadians? My previous experience with them did not go well so looking for a better exchange.

Circle stopped receiving btc transfers a year ago. Coinbase is the main exchange used by many. See 1st post of this thread. Ignore Circle references.

While Bitcoin does fluctuate, if you buy and spend the Bitcoin in a short timeframe, there should be a minimal change in price, if any at all. From the time it takes you to buy the Bitcoin and send it to Americas Cardroom any price change would be minimal. However, if you store your Bitcoin in your online wallet for large amounts of time, you will need to deal with the fluctuations that come with the currency.

-Why did I receive less money from my BTC Cash Out?

Bitcoin is a currency that has constant fluctuations, so you might see differences in the amount sent and received due to currency conversions. Bear in mind that the rate used for the conversion will be the one available at the moment the payout is processed. If at any time your payout is being processed and you would like to cancel it due to fluctuations, please alert us via phone at 1-877-314-4195 so we can try to stop the transaction.
This isn't really helpful in my case at all. I'm familiar with fluctuations in the price of BTC and other cryptocurrencies. My point was that I was paid out at a rate of $8500 / BTC, even though the price on GDAX was about $300 lower ($8200 / BTC) in the few hour window around my cashout. Seems like ACR is shortchanging their players on BTC withdrawals to save a few bucks (or few hundred bucks depending on the size of the withdrawal).

Re: Bitcoin Deposits and Withdraws

I dont know if the following is standard, but think its worth mentioning.
I deposited 3k via btc earlier, in the deposit window they tell you to send X amount within 15 minutes and I sent it instantly. In transaction history it says $3k approved, but in financial history tab I see I only got credited $2962. Live chat tells me that this is due to btc price fluctuation during this 30 minute wait. But this kind of ruins the point of locking in the rate at time of purchase.
If they quote me a specific rate of X btc for $3k at the time of purchase, how can they quote a different rate 30 minutes later and short my deposit? In this case the support person credited my account with a 'one time good will gesture of $30' (not $38) but this whole process seemed scammy in principle. I've never had this happen before when depositing btc but thought I'd bring it to the attention of others.

Re: Bitcoin Deposits and Withdraws

Is it common when withdrawing via bitc to not even get the email that ACR tells you is instantly sent?

Re: Bitcoin Deposits and Withdraws

I've done 5 or 6 withdrawals and there has never been an email. You have to keep checking your wallet to see when its posts...which is annoying.
