ACR client freezes when trying to LogIn ACR client freezes when trying to LogIn

ACR updates and loads fine, but as soon as I try to log in the client freezes and locks up (running Windows 10). Anyone have this problem and know a solution?

Yes, that is the identical issue I am also experiencing. By following your twitter timeline I can tell our problems started around the same time.

Not sure about you, but I also simultaneously began having problems where chrome would not longer play twitch or youtube videos correctly (audio works but image just stays blank). Still can't tell if these issues are related or independant bugs. Hopefully someone can find a solution soon b/c it is tilting AF having to play on my old tiny laptop running Windows 7 to get my poker fix.

It looks like highhands89 found a workaround by making modifications to his hard drive setup:

I hope tech support for all WPN clients can be notified there is a solution out there and a patch released asap.

I had this same exact issue for 10+ days and none of the troubleshooting fixed it. Windows 10.

Running the client as an administrator (right-click on the ACR icon and select run as administrator) and adding both .exe that run while the client is active to my anti-virus exceptions worked for me. To find those out I just ran the task manager - looked at what the processes were called and manually typed those into my anti-virus.

I uninstalled my antivirus and turned off windows defender and ran the client as administrator ... same problem.

I've experienced this off/on, I think my account still "logs in" even though client won't interact.

I had the issue today - windows 7 pro - ran ACR as administrator and I am now able to interact...

bumping this so WPN rep can pass the info on to tech support. Is this being worked on or do we have to try to self repair?
