That would be one way to do it, but it would depend on what the original fee is and what the backlog is looking like.

When I use blockchain on my phone, I'm just guessing bv I can't see the transaction size (in bytes) before I send.

It's much easier if you know how large the transaction will be. Then you can easily figure out the exact fee amount.

If you're unsure and want to be safe make it larger. If the transaction will have Multiple inputs guess the size at 600 bytes. At 390 satoshis per byte that makes the fee about 5 bucks so hopefully it's a large transaction.

Bitcoin need to adress the capacity issue.

Ah, I see. Will try that next time I'm in the need. Thanks for the tip.

So I requested a $25,000 withdrawal last week. Friday comes around (5/26) and I get a call from WPN confirming my withdrawal information. I am told the money will be sent that day. Saturday morning (5/27) I have still not received the funds so i call WPN. At first I am told they will need to call me back because it appears they sent the money already but there is definitely some confusion on her end. She is unable to tell me how many coins were sent tho which was in my opinion a red flag that they had not been sent yet. Few hours later I call back (of course no one called me) and claim that they sent the money Friday and that bitcoin transactions have been slower than normal. However I am skeptical of this due to the fact that at no point did my bitcoin account have pending transactions. I was refreshing my bitcoin account every hour friday so I could instantly cashout the funds and not be subject to bitcoins extreme volatilty.

When I finally received the funds Saturday afternoon my account stated that at the time of receiving the coins their worth was only $21,692. When I look at all my other withdrawals from WPN they ALL are within 100$ of my requested cashout amount. I called live support and was given the blanket response of 'bitcoin is volatile' which I most definitely understand, it just does not seem to explain other inconsistencies. As far as I know it has never taken 30 hours for a transaction to be confirmed and even if so I was under the impression that the transaction would always appear as 'pending'

I am not here to complain. I have sent all my information to winning_td. My question is do I have a legitimate gripe? Am I correct in my assertion that if they had actually sent the coins when they claimed that the transaction would have appeared as 'pending confirmations'?

**I have a theory that they meant to send me the coins on Friday and for whatever reason someone dropped the ball and it was labeled as paid out when it actually wasn't. When I called I believe I prompted someone to actually initiate the transaction and instead of being paid out what the current bitcoin rate was I was given the rate of the day before which was drastically higher. (According to bitstamp on Friday it hovered between $2500-$2300 per coin. Saturday afternoon at the time I received BTC was worth ~$2080). I have provided photos of the current cash out and previous cashouts to show the discrepancy. Was I just a subject of a volatile market or did I get kind of screwed by WPN?

Anyone know what documents they require for withdrawing? Will they accept a bank statement instead of a utility bill?

Thanks.

Received 10:30 p.m. EST, pretty impressed by the speed.

*edit*

I gotta say this was my first time doing bitcoin and I'm very impressed by the whole process, from how fast ACR was, to how fast I got it to blockchain, then coinbase, and now on its way to my bank acct.

Can confirm this works. https://bitcoinfees.21.co's recommended fee will usually get the transaction confirmed in under 15 minutes.

Just a FYI, the blockchain app for mobile will not show your account as having received any BTC until it is confirmed. However, if you login to your account on a computer, it will show the transaction even with 0 confirmations. If I had to guess, what happened was the 25k was sent to you, but since BTC confirmations have been incredibly slow lately, it sat unconfirmed for a long time, not showing up when you refreshed the app. By the time it confirmed, the price of BTC had dropped. I would guess that the "value when received" is the value when it is confirmed.

Next time, check your balance on a PC instead, and as soon as you see the transaction pending in your blockchain, do a child pays for parent transaction as described above to get it confirmed right quick.

Hello there - US WPN player here.

I tried to transfer some funds from Circle to my bank account but they notified me now (only after I transferred the funds from Blockchain to Circle) that they can't do this for me anymore.

Am I the only one with this issue? I didn't find any info by searching.

What is the solution? Should I send the money back to Blockchain and use another service like Circle?

Thanks for the help.

Prolly a noob question but here goes.

Sent BTC from Blockchain to my Coinbase BTC Vault. From there how do i sell my BTC coins and get cash in my bank account. I tried to transfer from my vault to my wallet and it had me upload my license and i got verified, now its telling me to transfer there is a 48 hour waiting period. Does this sound right. Once that 48 hours is up and the funds are in my BTC Wallet whats my next step?

Don't know how you'll be able to send back to Blockchain as Circle no longer supplies bitcoin addresses. You need to contact them to see what your options are.

He stated his funds were already in Circle. Since Circle no longer generates bitcoin addresses, I don't know if they even provide an avenue to transfer out via bitcoin.

I used a PREVIOUSLY USED CIRCLE GENERATED ADDRESS to send from blockchain. If you have access to any such addresses, you could send $10 as a test to see if the loophole still exists.

Not sure of the validity in this quote
