So I requested a $25,000 withdrawal last week. Friday comes around (5/26) and I get a call from WPN confirming my withdrawal information. I am told the money will be sent that day. Saturday morning (5/27) I have still not received the funds so i call WPN. At first I am told they will need to call me back because it appears they sent the money already but there is definitely some confusion on her end. She is unable to tell me how many coins were sent tho which was in my opinion a red flag that they had not been sent yet. Few hours later I call back (of course no one called me) and claim that they sent the money Friday and that bitcoin transactions have been slower than normal. However I am skeptical of this due to the fact that at no point did my bitcoin account have pending transactions. I was refreshing my bitcoin account every hour friday so I could instantly cashout the funds and not be subject to bitcoins extreme volatilty.
When I finally received the funds Saturday afternoon my account stated that at the time of receiving the coins their worth was only $21,692. When I look at all my other withdrawals from WPN they ALL are within 100$ of my requested cashout amount. I called live support and was given the blanket response of 'bitcoin is volatile' which I most definitely understand, it just does not seem to explain other inconsistencies. As far as I know it has never taken 30 hours for a transaction to be confirmed and even if so I was under the impression that the transaction would always appear as 'pending'
I am not here to complain. I have sent all my information to winning_td. My question is do I have a legitimate gripe? Am I correct in my assertion that if they had actually sent the coins when they claimed that the transaction would have appeared as 'pending confirmations'?
**I have a theory that they meant to send me the coins on Friday and for whatever reason someone dropped the ball and it was labeled as paid out when it actually wasn't. When I called I believe I prompted someone to actually initiate the transaction and instead of being paid out what the current bitcoin rate was I was given the rate of the day before which was drastically higher. (According to bitstamp on Friday it hovered between $2500-$2300 per coin. Saturday afternoon at the time I received BTC was worth ~$2080). I have provided photos of the current cash out and previous cashouts to show the discrepancy. Was I just a subject of a volatile market or did I get kind of screwed by WPN?
