Having issue with a check I received from black chip so I'm going to request a void and go the bitcoin route. I have blockchain and coinbase but given the story on the last page about coinbase I am weary. Is there any other wallet that is reliable and a little bit less nosy about your funds and where they're coming from? Just trying to find a reliable option. Thanks for the help.

What's the story on Blockchain and Coinbase now? Are people still having problems even going that route with an intermediate wallet?

Circle also did this before they closed, I just ignored their emails and kept on keeping on. FYI, you guys probably should quit typing out the names of exchanges and treat them as if they were a bank, which they basically are...

If it were me, I'd just tell them that I trade BTC for profit, they have no way to prove that.

Just opened an ACR account and looking to deposit. So if I go the Bitcoin route tell me if I have this right. I need something like Coinbase to buy the bitcoin then send it to a wallet like blockchain and then send the bitcoin from blockchain to ACR? And then when I withdrawl you just do the reverse?

Yeah there's nothing wrong with trading BTC for investment. "Buy low and sell the BTC high"

I am having trouble getting a good enough pic of my drivers license to verify my coinbase account. Did any of you guys have trouble doing that?

If I bought a prepaid visa card and used that to deposit could I later withdraw using bitcoin?

New to Bitcoin and testing the waters. Does this sound right?

Bitcoin - $220AUD ended up with $153 US 70c exchange
Pokerstars - $220 AUD ended up with $162 US 74c exchange

So does that mean using Bitcoin means losing money because of fees......normally

While they have been good in past about paying out in past, they have been very fishy my last 2 cashouts. While i did get paid they seemed to delay my withdrawal for no reason. They asked me for the bitcoin address, the amount o of my last deposit and amount of current withdraw. Which was kind of strange to begin with. When I emailed them back no response. I called and the person i talked to saw no reason for the delay. Right after the suberbowl ended I get approved which i find to be strange timing. Do we have any idea if they segregate funds? Last thing I want to see is another fulltilt.

It sounds like they were just trying to verify your identity so your funds didn't get stolen. I cashed out from another IP in a different state a month or so ago and my account was immediately locked until I replied to their email. It's a hassle, but when dealing with BTC it's best to be careful as there is nothing you can do to recover the funds.

Was your cashout over $10k? They ask these questions for larger cashouts, probably for security reasons. I've done several $9.5k cashouts to avoid this in the past.

Bitcoin cashout to wallet from Ignition was fast (under a day) ... Bitcoin to coinbank is fast ... then coinbank to my US Bank account took about 3.5 days. All in all not terrible.

This was my test run with $100. Now going to do it with $3k! Wish me luck.

Took over a week to get some BTCs, but the deposit was super quick once I received the funds.

Question as a new BTC user. Is there any inherent advantage/disadvantage to using a BTC ATM instead of a bank account? I assume it would take the place of the bank account in the generic bank account>wallet>exchange>site order of events? Appreciate the help.

Hopefully someone has the answer for you. I used a bank account though for BTC and it took a week to clear

I made my 2nd bitcoin deposit. How long does I have to wait now for the bitcoin withdrawal option to show up in the withdrawal section of the cashier?

Was able to resolve the issue through live chat. Apparently they needed my assurance that I would not use cards in the future to directly deposit, otherwise it would take 20 days for the bitcoin option to become available for withdrawal.

Convenience. We have a BTC ATM here in Akron, OH where I live. Want to buy some bitcoin? You can purchase anywhere from $1-$2999 dollars of BTC with cash (the 9%-11% transaction fee bites though) on the spot. Want to cashout from your favorite site? Have the site send the money directly to the wallet on your mobile phone, take that to the ATM and sell off up to $2980 per day in BTC (the transaction fee is 1.5% for that, not too bad). From experience any given transaction takes 5-10 minutes depending on whatever network stuff the ATM has to do in the background to send the confirmation SMS to your phone and talk to whatever it talks to. Seeing as how some people in this thread are talking about it taking over a day to make the transaction to or from their bank account I don't think you can beat the ATM for convenience. If you have one local to you that is pretty awesome.
