man! Circle was the nuts, wasn't getting charged any fees. So most of you guys are going over to Coinbase? 1.5% fee on every Coinbase withdrawal?

First time transferring money from my blockchain wallet to BitPay card. Funds are gone from Blockchain and funds are "pending" on my BitPay card. Any idea how long this may take? Minutes? Hours?

don't panic. i've had blockchain transfers that complete in 20 minutes and one time it took two days

I was able to make withdrawals to my bank account directly thru my debit card from Circle (surprisingly). So I never had to give them my bank account info. Does it work that way on Coinbase too?

I meant my visa debit from my bank- the same debit card that I would load Circle with. Circle gave me the option of withdrawing money from Circle onto my debit card, which went directly to my bank. I did not mean that I had gotten a debit card from Circle. Sorry, for the lack of conciseness.

Planned on playing for the first time since before June and wanted to jump into the $340 500k. Followed websites video from ACR to download circle....did that....deposited $$ onto circle to get to blockchain to find out that it won't work. Gave ACR a call, the gentleman said he would send info to email and I asked him quickly if he knew if there was anyway to get funds from circle to another wallet which he replied no, you need to deposit another $340 into another wallet site. I said wow well you should take it off of your website which suggests using circle because it doesn't work...He then proceeded to rudely tell me it's not in their hands and he "knows what I'm doing". Your ******* website says use circle! IT IS IN YOUR HANDS!?!?! WTF! Thanks ACR. thanks.

Because Circle changed things literally a few days ago, which is discussed in all the posts directly above you.

I very rarely get on twoplustwo....I understand things just changed a few days ago, but if I go to a businesses website, I expect them to stay on top of these changes. It's as small as posting a small note on the page telling you NOT to use circle..I was literally following the directions given to me from ACR.

If you knew how business worked you would understand site's generally can't be updated that quickly

I originally used coinbase and switched to circle 6 months ago because you guys all said it was the nuts. I guess I have to go back to coinbase now. No biggie.

Anyone putting large amounts of money through coinbase should read up on the recent IRS-coinbase ruling - I think the IRS can request anyone's account info at any time, which could be used to track transactions. It's not a concern of mine so I haven't researched it much, but wanted to raise awareness.

I'm not in a hurry to try Coinbase support again. The first time I emailed support I was sent a link to the FAQ page by "Joey the Support Bot". No joke.

Guess I posted too soon. So I'm going with this 'traditional' option. Now waiting the 3-5 business days for two $0.01- $0.99 transactions to hit my account so I can verify. Not comfortable with the first method.

i just set up coinbase with the instant verification and it was super easy. i wouldn't be so worried about giving out your banking info. you're still giving out your info, just in a more old fashioned way.

Yes, CB closed my account because of this awhile back. Before I found this thread and others I just transferred directly from site to CB, and after 20 transfers or so I was no longer allowed to use them. Always go wallet, CB, site when depositing and site,wallet, CB when withdrawing.

With that said, now that circle is done, what other options are there for instant debit card buys? I can't find any and I really don't like holding BTC's for longer than a few days and also keep my onsite cash to a minimum in-case BF 2.0.

About to do my first withdrawal and wanted to make sure I have sequencing correct:

Go to Blockchain, hit receive, get a new address
Go to ACR withdrawal put in my request, enter address
Once shipped to Blockchain transfer to Coinbase
Sell BTC on Coinbase for $
Withdraw $ to my bank acct

Is that the procedure? Completely bypassing the shady checks drawn on foreign banks method I have done previously.

Got my withdraw in about 24h to my BC, from BC to CB took about 8h. CB fee was more than expecting though when selling coins sadly.

Overall not too shabby.

any one ever use kraken? anyone know what their fees are compared to coinbase?

I signed up for Kraken but ended up using coinbase instead, and it took 1 day to get from ACR to coinbase, and 3 days from coinbase to bank, and their fee was 1.5 percent.
