I don't think that many people realize that this is awesome news. Now I want to see a Rush poker variant on WPN. Great job with Bitcoin. This is huge.

Don't waste your time if you're in NJ, NV, or DE.

Probably a dumb question, but What if the value of bc tanks?

As long as it doesn't tank to $0, then the price is meaningless in terms of this announcement. You can purchase your bitcoin and have it sent to WPN in minutes. Going the other way, once they send you bitcoin for a cashout, you can sell it in minutes.

K doesn't sound that risky if process Is that fast.

May even be a goodthing.

I don't quite understand exactly how to use bitcoin. Could someone post a tutorial of the full process? How to turn bitcoin into USD and cash it out from a bitcoin wallet and etc.

This would be much appreciated.

I also don't have the e-wallet option... How did you get it to show up?

If WPN converts the BC to $ when you deposit it's a moot point.

If WPN holds the currency in BTC until you join a game, then you're subject to market fluctuations just like with any other foreign currency.

Now that we're catching up with the times are we ever going to get a mobile gaming platform?

Of course the whole discussion is moot for me.

Will you accept bitcoin deposits regardless of the player's geographic location?

Yes sir!
False.

Can't deposit USD? Can't deposit BTC either. At least I can't. Any other Marylanders seeing the option?

2 questions:

what Bitcoin exchange is being used for conversion to USD?

what will be the withdrawal minimum in USD once the BTC withdrawal is implemented?

It would be nice to have a two-factor authentication option to log in and also to transact.

All of my bitcoin accounts have Google Authenticator

Won't be depositing until I see something like this

Coinbase is banning accounts for sending/receiving to/from known gambling addresses. I believe you can just send BTC to your own local wallet first (then to a poker site) and be OK. It's all over Reddit, search "coinbase beware" if link gets removed:

Yeah, that's right. Before you deposit to WPN - and then when you eventually withdraw - you should send your bitcoin thru a new bitcoin address that you create separate from Coinbase.

You can use an online wallet like blockchain.info, or a local wallet on your computer.

So the cycle would be:

Buy bitcoin on Coinbase/Circle -> send to new address -> WPN -> send to new address -> send to Coinbase/Circle to sell

Hopefully WPN will help by using new addresses every time we deposit and sending withdrawals from different addresses. That should make it tough for Coinbase to know that the transactions are even gambling related in the first place.

How long will bitcoin withdrawals take?
01-14-2015 , 02:11 AM
My current deposit was initiated an hour and a half ago, has 9 confirmations, and still hasn't been credited to my account. I asked live support about it about 30 min ago (when there were 5 or 6 confirmations) and was told it's still pending.

Can you please keep us updated on how long it takes

My test deposit took about 25 minutes to clear on Sunday.

Not to discourage this because it's a good thing but just know that bitcoins are dropping hard in value the past few days.
