infrequent player since about a year ago. made 2 deposits and this is my first withdrawal.

2/11
-request btc withdrawal

2/13
-haven't received an email and only have a screenshot as record of withdrawal
-figure out that I need to click "withdraw" and find the tiny font "transaction history" link to check status
-withdrawal is "pending verify information"
-email ACR support, they tell me to send some information to a cashier email address, which I do

2/14
-withdrawal processed, btc in wallet

a bit unsettling that there was no verification email and I had to email support before they instructed me about account verification. one the cashout was processed I had the money quickly.

Has anyone gotten a w/d through since the cashiers been down? Mine wasn't working then it came up for a few hours and It let me w/d but I still haven't received the btc. Its only been ~24-36 hours but usually during weekdays I've gotten them same day and I can't access my cashier again.

Any Canadians have any good recommendations instead of QuadrigaCX to withdraw money for Canadians? My previous experience with them did not go well so looking for a better exchange.

Circle stopped receiving btc transfers a year ago. Coinbase is the main exchange used by many. See 1st post of this thread. Ignore Circle references.

While Bitcoin does fluctuate, if you buy and spend the Bitcoin in a short timeframe, there should be a minimal change in price, if any at all. From the time it takes you to buy the Bitcoin and send it to Americas Cardroom any price change would be minimal. However, if you store your Bitcoin in your online wallet for large amounts of time, you will need to deal with the fluctuations that come with the currency.

-Why did I receive less money from my BTC Cash Out?

Bitcoin is a currency that has constant fluctuations, so you might see differences in the amount sent and received due to currency conversions. Bear in mind that the rate used for the conversion will be the one available at the moment the payout is processed. If at any time your payout is being processed and you would like to cancel it due to fluctuations, please alert us via phone at 1-877-314-4195 so we can try to stop the transaction.
This isn't really helpful in my case at all. I'm familiar with fluctuations in the price of BTC and other cryptocurrencies. My point was that I was paid out at a rate of $8500 / BTC, even though the price on GDAX was about $300 lower ($8200 / BTC) in the few hour window around my cashout. Seems like ACR is shortchanging their players on BTC withdrawals to save a few bucks (or few hundred bucks depending on the size of the withdrawal).

I dont know if the following is standard, but think its worth mentioning.
I deposited 3k via btc earlier, in the deposit window they tell you to send X amount within 15 minutes and I sent it instantly. In transaction history it says $3k approved, but in financial history tab I see I only got credited $2962. Live chat tells me that this is due to btc price fluctuation during this 30 minute wait. But this kind of ruins the point of locking in the rate at time of purchase.
If they quote me a specific rate of X btc for $3k at the time of purchase, how can they quote a different rate 30 minutes later and short my deposit? In this case the support person credited my account with a 'one time good will gesture of $30' (not $38) but this whole process seemed scammy in principle. I've never had this happen before when depositing btc but thought I'd bring it to the attention of others.

Is it common when withdrawing via bitc to not even get the email that ACR tells you is instantly sent?
02-19-2018 , 02:15 PM
I've done 5 or 6 withdrawals and there has never been an email. You have to keep checking your wallet to see when its posts...which is annoying.

what's the most someone's been stung withdrawing right on a sudden crash? ie this month's btc has been all over the shop!

If you're wanting to withdraw a hefty amount, 5k or something, would it best to just transact $500 a day or so?

Yes, ACR sucks in these type of basic things. I send mine to Coinbase and they notice me by e-mail when the withdraws is done.

I did about 20 BTC withdraws last year, mostly in May/June, and never lost more than 0.5% on all the withdraws and actually had four that resulted in much more $ by +1% (2x), +4% and +5%. My biggest lost was -0.8% in Dec 2017.

If you are worried about it, I would break the 5k up into 5x 1k withdraws.

If you are using Coinbase, make sure to do the withdraws through gdax.com as it will avoid the 1.5% fee that Coinbase charges for withdrawing BTC -> USD -> bank account.

Does the race fee count towards contributed rake, as I pertains to clearing 10% of deposit in rake... in order to begin withdrawals?

Just started back up on ACR total noob lol, ran deep in the Sunday million, if willing which would be anazing won that, what’s the best withdraw method? Bitcoin can be to unsettling at times, anyone else’s have this type of knowledge or experience and can share with someone who has been out of the game since the Tilt /Stars golden days
02-26-2018 , 09:43 PM
Also, on ACR it says 25,000 max bitcoin withdraw, now I'm older and a total noob to this whole bitcoin thing, back then on TILT they just put the money into your account, with the banks red flagging everything, a bitcoin deposit into your bank with 25,000, wouldn't that draw some concern from your bank? Again, I'm totally new to this stuff I made 500 deposit last week for the first time in probably 3 years or more.. Im lost on the whole bitcoin being transferred to your bank, with such high volume, wouldn't the banks see this and wonder why this money is coming in? Im lost on if you won the sunday millions, how would you get the money back to yourself without the hassle?

Sorry to be such a idiot, but I guess nowadays if your going to play online you have to keep up with this stuff

Was just checking on a withdrawal and noticed that Bitcoin is now the only option? Are alt coins no longer being supported? I also noticed my max withdrawal went down to 10k from 25k?
02-28-2018 , 04:17 PM
anyone know if the Coinbase trans. fees have gone back down to normal, since the backload of unconfirmed transactions has gone down? (i.e. I'm not paying $20 in fees to send around $60-70)...

also, have they started using Segwit addresses yet?

I have always withdrawn to exchanges rather than wallets, but decided to send to my nano ledger s this time. Unlike the exchanges my nano shows the incoming amount in USD rather than in terms of BTC. So this is the first time i've noticed getting shorted a large amount. I withdrew 25k and was shorted $684 and 10k and was shorted $202. When I email them they say my wallet is charging me this fee which is complete and utter bull****. I've never been charged fees remotely close to this amount or % in all my transactions to and from my nano ledger. Makes me wonder how much they are ripping people off all the time by claiming they locked in the btc price for transactions at the peak in like a 24 hour period while not actually sending at that rate.

I doubt you'll get a good answer for this as I just spent 20 mins talking to someone over live chat and everything was "fluctuations". You don't need to explain to me the ever changing price of bitcoin, I get it. It's ridiculous. I also checked the price of btc at the time they sent and it's different every where I look from what they claim.
