Since WPN is going to be Wave friendly, think about having your own token and make a marketplace available for players to buy/sell.

Would be cool for sure, transactions there are like a fraction of a penny lol...and deposits/withdraws would be instant or you could choose your own exchange rate and wait for it to fill. Best of all Waves is decentralized and can't/won't close accounts.

what's the ETA when this will be implemented?

anyone have any experience with deposits/withdrawals via other (than BTC) crypto? Fair market prices?

Haven't tested it yet, but depending on which crypto you use it could be both faster transactions and much lower fees. Once I do, I'll let you guys know how it went and maybe post an easy-to-understand guide.

I tested it yesterday with Waves, it arrived a few hours later that day and the exchange rate was very fair. For those needing to convert to usd quickly, eth is probably your best bet though.

If any of you need help trying to figure all of this stuff out, just let me know. Also always remember to secure your stuff and to make secure backups for your seed phrases and such, even if just as simple as writing it on a piece of paper and stashing it somewhere safe. If you're dealing with larger amounts, consider getting a hardware solution such as a Trezor or Ledger.

the min. deposit/withdrawal of $100 for most cryptos seems a bit high, if they are really wanting this to take off

Bit of an update...when I posted this around Nov 1st, Bitcoin was around $6500 and Waves was around $3(it actually dropped as low as $2.50 on Nov 2nd-3rd or so). Currently Bitcoin is around 17k and Waves is around $15. You do the math

I'm not making a point to buy or anything since this stuff is extremely risky, I'm trying to say that there are other solutions being adopted and developed at a rapid pace that merit a serious look from poker players and the industry itself. The rise of Ethereum and even Litecoin should have been a wake-up call that Bitcoin isn't the complete solution for getting funds into and out of poker rooms(among many other things involving quick micro-transactions), but even these are seeing higher fees and transaction bottlenecks lately.

So are they basically paying out btc, altcoins using shapeshift fees?

I notice when i went to deposit/withdraw, layout looks same as shapeshift.

So if someone want to withdraw 1k, using btc, they are getting around how much? What if its those other coins like litecoin etc? Do they take higher percentage from those as oppose to btc? I read someone mentioned they deposited 200 worth of litecoin and only got 150? So if they withdraw 200, they only going to get 150 if its litecoin? But if its btc, it would be close to 200?

I made a $200 deposit to top off for some mtts this past weekend. I used lite coin and was charged a $30 fee. After contacting support I was told I'd be refunded the fee this one single time. %15 deposit fee is ****ing bull**** and until this is taken care of I will not be depositing here anymore funny no other site charges this kind of crazy was fee

It seems so based on price but I didn't notice what you mean by the layout.

WPN/ACR should eat these fees or be transparent. Like wtf why do I even have to type this?

This thread should be merged with the BTC thread.

Disagree lots of separate issues here and ACR wants it up for marketing reasons

Is there a preferred cryptocurrency to use for depositing when it comes to fees and anything else?
12-21-2017 , 11:38 AM
Deposited with litecoin and got charged 20 bucks on top. Definitely will not be playing here when BOL doesn’t do this.

That is weird. From their website:

"First, it’s the cheapest way to fund your account. With the exception of the miniscule “miner’s fee,” there are no transaction fees whatsoever."

Although that is bitcoin and not litecoin, the principle *should* be the same. If rep could confirm it would be nice, would like to make a bigger deposit this week.

I was charged about 12% on a deposit over 400 USD using ETHER. Sent a note to customer service about why so high. They basically blame it on the wallet. I don't know if they are referring to who handles the transaction for crypto on their end or my end. I sent from Coinbase. Prior to confirming the deposit, I checked exchange rate on Coinbase vs what is estimated on ACR. It is practically the same. The higher rate that includes the hidden transaction fee doesn't appear until after you confirm the deposit. Maybe this is on the Coinbase side, but I don't think so. I did used to go via Blockchain.com and not sure of the fees there.

Either way, I think it's an outright lie that they market "no transaction fees whatsoever."

From support:
Hello,

We hope this email finds you well, It's a pleasure for us to assist you.

Transactions can be processed without fees, but trying to send free transactions can require waiting days or weeks.

Most of those wallets will also give you chance to review the fee before sending the transaction. What I would strongly recommend is you checking other sites, there is a word on the street that https://bitquick.co/ has been working out for several players.

For Bitcoin, Ether or Litecoin queries I would advise you to check with them directly.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you, we are at your service!

Kind Regards,

Sofia A.
