The Sit and Crush Race as it currently stands should be called the "Jackpot Race", because that's the only feasible option at the moment if you want a decent payout. OD's have been nerfed too many times, and aren't worth playing anymore. Sit and goes are nearly dead. Us people who prefer OD's and sit and goes over JP's should have the option of playing what we prefer to play and still be able to put in the work to contend for whatever payout we want in the sit and crush. I recommend roughly doubling the amount of points sit and goes and OD's get, and do some sort of promotion for it on the log in screen to hype it up. Otherwise change the name to "Jackpot Race", because that's all anyone is playing in it at the moment.

100%+ rake return is not enough, apparently. Please send in an application for employment to grind ODs.

Alternatively, propose a balance that does not simply dump more money into ODs.

A good start would be to drop the amount needed to fire for OD's to 6 for all. It's currently at 10 people for 10$ and 20$, 6 for 7$ and 15$ hi/lo and 5$ NL, and 8 for 1$ and 3$. Doesn't seem to make any logical sense to me. Drop them all down to 6 players needed to fire.

For sit and goes, I propose for them to be increased in s&c points given by 50%. For example, a 10$ regular blinds 9 player sit and go should give 1.875 instead of 1.25 . This should attract a larger crowd to sit and goes as well and bring more diversity to the sit and crush race.

These changes might not bring perfect balance to the race, but it would be a step in the right direction; allowing players more options to choose from to compete for the race.

They want volume players competing for the rake race, ideally that volume is put in their most profitable format, why split that volume more evenly across less profitable formats and lose money ?

I just wished they different buyins levels. So everyone would have a chance.

in the sit n crush it might seem as though that the people that chase the $1250 get the biggest advantage that is far from true. The highest rakeback % by far is the lowest tier of the $50 + $55 ticket prize. So while marketing and optics might not be great telling micro players to get 99th place the value is there.

I am not sure why SNGs rarely fire and fire at such low frequencies. I have to wait forever for a mid-stakes SNG to fire (and high stakes 6m/fr never fire), which is a big reason I have been playing the jackpots.

It's because of SNC. That alone has created this environment where regular SNG's hardly ever fire.

I understand your points to a certain degree however I would like to add something. As a person who enjoys playing sit n gos and not jackpots I to would like other options to be able to compete on the leaderboard. So you know what I did? I registered for 20 hyper turbo 9 mans to compete with the jackpot players and you know what the end result was? Not one person would register and these were small buyin levels. So maybe the sit n go players need to look at themselves first before saying they don't have a chance.

The OD's went from Red to Black text in my lobby, does this mean they no longer count towards Sit n Crush?

I could be wrong but I don't think any micro players stand a chance at even coming close to 99th place on the SNC leader board, let alone getting any money.

There is obviously a reason pstars is pushing spins so much and hence why WPN is now as well. They make a lot more money in terms of rake and they are now more marketable for the site than regular sngs or od's. With that said i wish wpn would do something for ODs and sngs as they are all but dead on wpn now.

Very soon seems to mean it's about 6-12 months away on the WPN.

I placed for the $50 prize (not sure if i got the ticket or not bc i didn't care/couldn't play) by getting 200 points one week playing maybe a total of 12-15 hours, 6-12 tabling $3 and $5 (with some 10's mixed in) STT's and OD's...so i mean it was pretty doable.

Below $5 it is possible but very difficult. I'm guessing 800-1200 $2 Jackpots is the most time-efficient route. Maybe impossible without any $2 JPP (I'm not sure how many $1 and $3 ODs run).

At $5, it's reasonably doable with $5 ODs. Maybe impossible with no JPP and no OD.

At $10 it's easy with JPP or OD. Not sure how difficult it would be at $10 with no JPP and no OD.

Maybe i'm wrong here, but it seems like removing ODs from the Sit N Crush really slowed the Sit N Go traffic.

I mean i still got enough games going most of the day to make my wife say i ignored her all day, but not as many as normal it seemed.

As far as I know, ODs have not been removed from Sit&Crush. Maybe you mean when the bonus points were adjusted or something else.

The lettering isn't red anymore, so I'm assuming....Also when i said that they didn't count earlier, the WPN rep said they had something in the works and didn't confirm or deny that they don't count.

I haven't logged on today and I haven't played one since the lettering changed to black but it still shows in the info box that you get points for OD.

was only playing on demands to start the day so i got break with my mtts. I can now safely say 100% still giving points

I'd agree with that. With no where near as many people playing OD's anymore, people stopped going into the sit and go tab completely. Also, to clarify, they didn't remove OD's, they cut the points they give in half and made them require more players to fire.
