Any way to stop card mods being overwritten after today's software update? Any way to stop card mods being overwritten after today's software update?

I've been using my own modded deck for all WPN skins. In order to make it work, I would have to stop the auto update on start up. It would work fine. The software would open, and my deck would be where I left it.

After today's update, if you stop the auto update, the software will not open. At all. Does anyone know a way of using modded decks without having them overwritten every time you start the software.

It seems like mods are no longer going to work. Even if you set the images to read only, they get overwritten.

I figured this out with the help of TeddeKGB.

Open the files for whatever WPN skin you're playing. Scroll down to 'pokerclient.ini'

It's a simple Notepad document. Remove the 2 sections titled [updater1] and [updater2]. Close and save document.

Your software will no longer try update when opening. You should keep the original .ini file somewhere and maybe once per week update your poker software to make sure you have the latest version.

Mods now stay where you put them.
