Well I am new to Americascard room and was going nuts this evening. I even snipped copies off my laptop of the lobby, the tourney lobby (SNG), and the table when the system went down. I was in 2nd place at the 9 seat table.

All day I had trouble logging in.

I must say it was with great relief that I saw this thread here. It was very re-assuring to discover it was a system problem and not something I was doing wrong.

Since Americascardroom is a new web site I will give it a chance to settle down. I love the way it works. A couple years ago I was on Absolute Poker. When it got yanked I had my entire poker stake on it and never got it back.

I went with Americascardroom two weeks ago because I heard it was very good about withdrawals.

2+2 seems to be a great site. I came here in frustration and already these problems are being discussed in almost real time.

I trippled up close to the bubble in the 10k guarantee had close to 3x the average well on my way to the final and bam thanks ACR. I do believe i'll be taking a break from there for a while so sick! Had about 30k and bam as luck would have it ACR crashed????

Still waiting on any credit from the crashed tournament...

What I am saying is if you disagree with their TOS, the time to argue it is prior to agreeing to it to begin play on the site. Not after. Or don't play on it. It sounds like they are not following theor own rules on this one but when the OP was posted he assumed they were following their TOS and thought that now is the time to argue it-after the fact. Anyway I hope they straighten all this out fo everyone soon

I was in 4th place when the network went down. I was just informed that the player with 80 chips left will receive the same amount of money as me who had 30k in chips. this is fair lol! I just lost a ton of respect for acr and may head over to another network. That was in the 10k guarantee

just another reason I hate tournys

It's such a joke! I had this happen in the 7.5k on sunday and in the 10k last night. Other tournaments I busted out of that were still running at the time of the crash weren't refunded, so where is that money going?

Last nights 10k had about 90ish people left, but 400+ registered. If those 90 get their 27.50 back, where does the money from the other 300+ that were out go? This is definitely something that needs to be addressed.

It get's divided evenly between us which is ridiculous the blinds were high and people were going to drop off like flies and I was in 4th place. I believe i'm going to take some time off i'm tilted for sure.

I never got a split on the 7.5k, at least I don't think I did. I got my TD back (I sat'd in). But that was it. My account balance changed a little, but I assumed that was from the other ones.

I still haven't been reimbursed for the 10k alst night

They are not handling this situation very well. The even chop for tournies is just redic. I don't think they see how bad this is STEALING from the players. Imo when your server goes down, we shouldnt be punished. By giving every1 left in the tourny the same amount, you are robbing/punishing us for something out of out control.

I suspect this will cause a lot of people to take their business elsewhere, and I'm going to see how they handle this sitaution. If they dont handle it well, I will have no choice but to move on to another site.

I played a heavy schedule last night and was involved in tournaments both instances when the site went down. I was also running quite well with large stacks in many of them. After talking with support, I was told I would receive both my buy in and chip equity for ITM tournaments. I personally did all the math on my own and came up with a figure I expected to receive. After being concerned all day today, I am happy to report that my account now reflects the balance I expected.

have 10k above avg in the 12.5k guarantee tonight and it is messing up again lol. heaven help this site.

yeah it's messing up again now we're itm and I just took a bad beat so this time they will divide the chips up and I will get screwed lol! since I am short stacked I won't make much unlike when I was booted in 4th I love these rules

I also did my own math and my balance is pretty much right on where I figured it would be, so I am satisfied with that.

I do wish ACR split according to chip equity even if the tourney hasn't yet made it into the money, but at least they followed their TOS.

I am going to wait a few more days before I play anymore tourneys at ACR until they fix their server issues.
