We'll be launching this beta Mac client tomorrow.

Below, I'm including a list of known issues already reported to us and on our list to be fixed. If you come across something else, we appreciate your feedback.

1. Jackpot Poker is not part of the mac client yet.
2. Hand histories must be manually imported. There are some hand histories that get errors in PT4. Those problems will be resolved soon.
3. Reraising preflop from the small blind adds the small blind money to the amount typed in the betting box.
4. At cap tables, the capped betting remaining bet notice must be refreshed before the next hand.
5. Auto switch between tables is not working.
6. Table needing action doesn’t take precedence over other software.
7. Preflop pre-action are missing when on the button or in the cutoff seat in 6-max. (Also true for all positions in full ring games.)
8. Hand replayer, Previous hand, and Hand History links are not functional.
9. I checked “Sit out next BB All” when I was sitting in the big blind. The next hand I was the small blind, the software didn’t autopost my small blind.
10. Waiting for player to rebuy counter goes away and looks like table froze for 15 seconds.
11. The cost is blank in the rebuy prompt.
12. The money amount at the far right of the table title bar is not to show how much money the player has left on the table. It’s to show how much money the player has put on that table since he started playing on that table.
13. On login screen in the login name, can’t tell the difference between an “i” and an “l”.
14. Tiling tables should not take up entire monitor.
15. The Beast and S&C counters are not live updated (update about every 5 seconds)
16. How to tell how many chips an inactive player has?

In tournament lobby of a $5 Turbo on demand, the Largest, Average, and Smallest stack sizes all say 150,000 chips (it just started).

When hitting 1/2 pot button in a tournament, value in the box is off (1,000 chip pot, 1/2 pot bet button says 500,00)

Dealer Chat function cannot be turned off (unselect option and hit Apply, and it still remains in chat box)

why does the cashier button open a browser now?

Okay so first thing's first. Love that this is finally out and understand that it's a work in progress. With that being said, a few things I have noticed thus far include:

1. After having already selected your preferred seat, it still will not update the settings so that it will place you in that seat next time a table opens or at your current table.
2. Largest, average, and smallest stack indicators have extra numbers in them and are def confusing.
3. Previous hand and last hand icons when clicked are not responsive.

on two monitors (27) when tiling 12 tables, the second monitor has the bottom tables cut off. You cant even see the "fold, call bet" buttons. Without manually adjusting the tables

The tiling is perfect on my parallels windows, but the tiling on the mac beta is def jacked up.

Not sure why this was released. I can't seem to stay connected for longer than an hour without everything freezing until I reset my computer

I really like the fact that it has more reasonable betsizing options like 1/4 1/2 3/4 full pot. If the cards werent so hard to read and weird looking I would say this client is way better then the windows one solely based on reasonable betsizing options alone.

I agree. The new bet size buttons are much better. I plan to change this on the PC client in the near future.

There are a few different decks to choose from in the Mac client. What is it you don't like about the cards?

They actually look a bit better when playing no limit, but when your playing plo they are too bunched together and you could potentially have a problem reading them accurately / efficiently since your table size is really small and you don't have much time to act when multi-tabling plo. Putting the cards side to side like they are in nl instead of bunching them together would fix the problem.

It makes me very sad that the Mac client has the bet sizing buttons we've been asking for all this time while the Windows client doesn't.

If us Windows users can't have nice things, there shouldn't be any nice things at all?

First impression: I have no idea what took more than two years to develop this client. And the person who did the color coding needs new glasses, absolutely horrid.
At least you don't have to deal with a beta client and dozens of bugs.

Will there eventually be Mac client for the black chip skin?

Eventually, yes. But don't count on it within the next few weeks or this year still.
