Alright, it's time to talk about the freezing tables. Alright, it's time to talk about the freezing tables.

I am talking about the fact that SnG's appear to be starting, show the countdown and all that, then just do not go, and you have to notice (WHILE OTHER TABLES ARE RUNNING FINE SOMEHOW???) and close table, select it from lobby, and click "Take My Seat" manually.

This happens in the middle of tournaments to me almost daily as well. Again, same thing has to be done manually to fix it upon noticing it (harder than you think when multitabling - I have gone from 12k in chips at 100/200 level to OUT of a tournament without noticing til I was eliminated LOL).

Obviously, this does not happen to all players, or necessarily ANY other players at the times it has happened to me. This is why customer service tells me to virtually screw off, it's an isolated incident, fix your poker application, yadda yadda.

I HAVE PERFORMED THEIR RECOMMENDED TROUBLESHOOTING LIST. NOPE. NOT THE ISSUE.

Also, I have voiced concern in the table chat to other players, who say it happens to them often as well. I have spoken of this glitch here on 2+2 in the general disconnect thread, only to hear one or two replies that also claim this happens to them. WHICH IS NICE. But it just gets lost in the big thread.

I hope the mods don't lock this, because I simply want to see if this is widespread amongst users, and they all have the same frustration I do and basically just deal with it (HUGELY -EV OBV, you know...defenselessly losing chips and all). Because if that is the case, that we all experience this, then WPN can forever tell us it is isolated, as it seems to happen at RANDOM to players, making it, yes, "isolated," but UNACCEPTABLE and TERRIBLY -EV nonetheless. While it happens to me seriously like once or twice a day, it typically IS NOT happening during a full day of grinding. I can play for 10 hours straight and it will happen just once. Sometimes twice. Sometimes 3-4 times per day. So it's not like the freezing we saw earlier in the summer. It's less frequent, and obviously less damaging (in the sense that you can self-fix it immediately if you notice it). BUT IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, I KNOW I HAVE LOST A GOOD CHUNK OF MONEY FROM IT, and it's not fair, period.

So, anyone else experience this???

I believe this happens due to a hiccup in the player's connection with the site's connection. The tables used to all reconnect well in previous iterations of the software but now some don't seem to unless you close and reopen. As being someone who has games hidden in a stack I often don't know when this happens but now I'm aware of it better able to defend against it (that and the sng community is tight enough to let each other know when sitting out), once my connection with ACR seems iffy in the slightest I go into panic mode searching for tables that might have this bug.

Not saying it's in anyway acceptable but just gleaning what little assumptions/experiences I have.

Well then, I don't think I could have hoped for a better first reply in the thread. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting, I had that happen to me a few days ago but was unsure what happened. It was the first time I encountered it.

However, there is another freezing issue. It happens after busting out of an SNG and the lobby pops up. The software locks up and says "Not Responding". It lasts for 30-45 seconds and sometimes happens in horrible spots. Then I have to go through and rejoin the tables that timed out.

Perhaps it's just my system, IDK. Generally it only happens 1 time a session (sometimes not, but more often than not). I have no idea what triggers it or how to stop it. Thankfully the overall negative effect is pretty micro.

You mentioned SNGs so i'm guessing we play some. If you gave me a method to contact you in real time (in pm) I could let you know if I ever see you sitting out

I appreciate that, but I would rather not have to resort to such methods that only slightly help the problem.

I am really hoping several others can confirm the same problem occurring regularly, and that WPN will use this thread as proof to take action on their end (in whatever way possible). I don't see it as something we should have to just go on doing our best with and going through daily panic sessions with our money on the line.

I know, lofty expectations. But I could no longer remain practically silent on it.

Happned to me in a hyper right before the money yesterday. I didn't notice because of my other tables and when I did I closed the table to find out I busted a few people away lol.

Yup, has happened to me twice now within the last 4 hours playing tournaments. Got eliminated from a satellite without playing a hand. Infuriating.

I also experience this glitch just about daily...

Upon winning a seat in a satellite, I am not taken to my seat in the tournament, and I am unable to access the ticket to do so manually. It is absolutely absurd. I'm sitting here talking to support asking for the buyin amount in cash, because it's been 10 minutes and I was gonna be late reg'd upon the end of the satellite as it was.....totally not fair.

Not that it matters in the argument, but I was chipleader whole time in the satellite. Crushed it. Of course that plays into my personal anger. Not to mention, I wanted to play the tournament....blahhhhhhhhhhhh

I said it happens almost daily - it does - but usually not permanent lol. Like usually it just takes a few minutes (literally like 3 min) to take me to my seat I won. Obviously still UNACCEPTABLE.

LOL - AFTER TALKING TO SUPPORT FOR 10 MINUTES, AND EXPLAINING TO HIM WHOLE TIME HOW EACH SECOND BECOMES MORE -EV AND I'D RATHER HAVE TOURNEY BUYIN IN CASH IF POSSIBLE (SHOULD BE IN A SANE WORLD), HE GETS ME TO MY SEAT ANYWAY.

I've had the freezing happen to me a lot (a handful of times a day). Normally when it happens is when I open a new browser window or tab (and it happens to me regardless of what browser I use... chrome, firefox or edge). The tables will freeze and the lobbies freeze (but less often than the tables).

I normally only play 3-4 tables, so I can usually notice it before I bust, but the players stacking tables probably wouldn't notice it some of the time.

Its a big problem, happened to me 10-15 times yesterday on 3 different skins. The table action just appears to be frozen with no players acting but you are actually sitting out while everyone else keeps playing.

I can be streaming or connected to multiple other poker sites and there isnt any connection problems except with wpn.

Doesn't seem to matter how many tables you have, I have had problems with max table count or 3-4. Mtts, Sng, and Cash all seem to be affected.

I had this last night while I was playing 2 sit n go's.

I flopped the same 2 pair on both boards, not same suits, just same pair.

I was sat out of both games.

So I opened the lobbies, then closed each table, and 'took my seat' back from the lobbies.

Unfortunately, I was timed out of both hands.

It's hard to know if it was only a coincidence with the same pair tables, or if it's a logic problem.

But this was the only time I've ever had this type of forced sit out.

This has been happening to me for months now. Its a huge problem when you have 10+ tables because you can miss the action from time to time. I've just been playing mtts past few months so its happening in those as well as sngs.

Hopped on 2+2 tonight to voice my issue on the table freezing as well. I have mainly played on bcp skin and tables freezing multiple times through session, but I decided I would try out ACR tonight and see if I had better luck. A couple hours in and I am having the same issue on ACR. Also after some time into each session I get the constant "action sound" regardless of having cards or not and have to reboot the client on breaks. Hoping we can get this resolved.
