ACR stole 0 from me. ACR stole 0 from me.

This is a follow up to a complaint I had back in November 2016. I deposited $250 through my bank account. The money left my bank account but never was deposited into my ACR account. I figured it would get straightened out so in the meantime I deposited some money through bitcoin, which worked right away.

After 4-5 days and over a dozen hours of my time, I had gotten nowhere with customer support either over the phone or through their web chat. The money never hit my account and it never returned to my bank. They kept asking me to explain the situation and send them screenshots of my bank account, which I did over and over again. They kept telling me it would straighten itself out in a day or 2, which never happened.

Finally I made a post on 2+2 explaining my difficulties, and finally someone from ACR actually called me. Unfortunately, they had not done their homework and insisted that I reexplain the situation, and resend the screen shots. How many times do I have to send these screen shots and explain the situation before someone actually looks at them and decides to fix it?

Finally I called it quits and reported it to my bank. My bank refunded the $267 ($17 fee for a $250 deposit!) and all was well.

Until maybe a month later when ACR took the $250 out of my poker account.

I haven't played ACR since, and was frankly too busy playing on the many fine sites that have always treated me well to worry about it.

However, I was clearing out my old eMails today and realized I still had all the documentation to prove that ACR in fact stole $250 from me and decided to come here and make this post.

My ACR account name is noshots00 if anyone from that company wants to look into it. I would like the money credited back to my poker account.

Until then, you all should be warned that they have problems with their deposits and their customer service is dreadful.

tldr: I deposited $250 into ACR, $267 left my bank account but never went into my poker account. After a week I told my bank to reverse the charge which they did. A month later ACR deducted $250 from my poker account, despite the fact that $250 had never entered it (something that is easily verifiable from their end).

It's been 2 weeks, has ACR looked into this?

I hate threads like this. Why would you be the person they stole from when there are plenty of other people who deposit greater amounts who never have an issue so what makes you so special?

It seems like a mistake by ACR that hasn't been rectified and so OP is understandably angry. Rather than ACR just plain stealing the money (though it is a good clickbait title) they surely have made some internal error and haven't figured out either what that error is, or what to do about it. It's the kind of error that, if it occurs again, will hurt ACR's reputation so they have incentive to fix it. I'm surprised it isn't fixed already actually.

I'm sure if you ask whoever's account it is for the email and password to email, I'll bet you got an email. I'm sure if your account is legit and your story is legit (haha) then you would have been credited with the deposit.

Highly doubt WPN is in the business of taking small deposits from rec players.

This. It will get fixed if you go the right way about it.

I have not received any eMail or communication from ACR. It has been over 6 weeks now. After spending countless hours with customer support (and explaining and sending them the proof over and over again) the correct thing to do is post my issue in 2+2.

You can always contest the charge with the bank can you not?

This was covered in the original post. After a week I had my bank reverse the charge and I deposited with bitcoin. About a month later ACR deducted $250 from my poker account.

No I haven't, mainly because their rep already said they were looking into this. But that was 7 weeks ago and may be I need to?

The only PMs I've gotten are from other players telling me ACR horror stories.

Not great if you've not been getting communication.

However I'd take PMs you get with a grain of salt as these people are able to make threads such as this one (threads critical of the site clearly allowed such as this one) and often just aren't because they get shutdown for wearing a tinfoil hat. Not saying that's what is happening but two sides to every story.

FWIW i pass on info or the issue.. As this has nothing to do with me i dont go backwards and forwards as the middle man. Sometimes i do when its an easy issue or something to do with me.

When it comes down to security issues this is something sensitive and i dont get in the middle.

At this point rather than ask ARC customer support about the original $250 you should email them and ask why $250 was taken from your account. Act clueless as to why it was taken.

At that point they should respond with "you bank declined or charged back your $250 deposit."

You then should ask customer support to tell you the time and date that the $250 deposit was credited to your account. If they can not tell you this then your proven right.

Then you can point out that since the $250 was never credited to your account then ARC is not entitled to take $250 from the account, and it should be returned.

Something tells me there is more to the story than we have been told
