Thanks for the tip. I'll do that from now on. Never thought about it.

The amount of effort it takes to get a $5.50 or $11 refund, that their system took in the first place, is annoying. Check my account history, see I play a lot, instantly credit my account.

Sent an email to the Rakeback customer service account about not seeming to be getting credit and got this reply from Eric "Regarding your concern, Sit and Go's 2.0 does not count toward you bonus or Rakeback"

The email addressed me by a name that was not mine (or even close) and seemed to care more about promoting other site options and promotions with their usual spelling errors. Professional as usual.

Not cool if true!

I made a thread on the subject.

If anyone being affected by the issue could go in there and back me up I'd appreciate it.

When I went to redeposit this month, the T&Cs did say jackpot games did not count towards clearning the bonus. Haven't heard anything about them not giving rakeback though.

I followed up with an email asking when 2.0 and Jackpots stopped being eligible for Rakeback. Days later, here is the reply-

"Please note that the rake starts to apply from the moment the account is set to rakeback and not from the moment requested since that it is not retroactive. I have checked your rewards page and it clearly states how much
you have tracked remember the Rakeback period starts every Monday at 12:00:00 ET and runs until Sunday at 11:59:59 also Sit and Goes 2.0 and Jackpot poker have never been part of this program, and they do not count towards any bonus program offered"

No, you keep the name. It looks good on you
Whoops... bumped into that...

"Never" apparently has a different meaning in WPN land...

Wrong, unless there was an unannounced change.

Wassup W_Rep, W_TD, W_CEO, are these and JPP supposed to be getting the rakebacks/bonus or no? Asking for a friend.

Apologies if already answered and I missed it.

loving the 2.0 game, mostly get 0-3 green like expected but had a strange game last week where first 2 cards were Gold's. I got real excited but surprised it didn't give anything unless table fills up all green and another gold . thought leading for 2 golds would at least jack up the prize pool good.

anyway, wish this DoS (hope thats just it) is over soon, ready to get back to some SNG

As of this morning, Jackpot Poker and SNG 2.0 games write the hand history to your hard drive. The hand histories have all players' screen names. Let me know if you experience any issues, please.

Does this mean our hud now works in them?

PT4/HM2 need to put out an update. Hopefully they are aware and working on it. After that yes.

Nice, I'm sure people is have mentioned them on their forums.

I kind of liked the cloak of no HUD. It was possible to be very unbalanced and not get exploited by anyone but the most observant players.

It'll be interesting to see if the dynamics change (doubt it), but I'll def be making more of an effort to balance my stats in spots.

Things got nutty last night:

A guy in the $5s started encouraging people to reg the $10s, then it morphed into the $25s.

Still a lot of interest out there.

PT released the update for these today.

Two problems right now:

1) The HUD positioning doesn't match up with the player. I tried adjusting it a few times so new tables would have the right positioning but wasn't able to get it working. It was like playing Whac-A-Mole. Will try again tomorrow night.

2) There's no results. You have to put them in manually, which is a pain. So an idea I have is to calculate the EV of each finishing position and then use a PostgreSQL query to mass edit winnings for the targeted tournament type (in this case 2.0s, but also needed for Jackpots).

to fix the positioning, have it list in PT that it auto seats you in the bottom seat.

Are you talking about the setting under "Configure -> Site & Import Options"?

I have that set and the HUD positions are fine on normal SNGs, it's just 2.0s that position randomly.

I've decided to try and load $10s/27s all day today let's get some going! Going to even load $5s when table space allows to hopefully get some momentum going
10-28-2017 , 02:48 PM
convinced a lot of the regulars to add them today.. Got a $11 running now lets get some more going

Upon release I was really excited for this format. Then I realized that after about the first week nothing higher than the lowest buyins went off at any reasonable pace. I guess from your post much is still the same.

It's a shame as these were a unique idea and I thought they had the potential to bring back full ring SnGs a bit. Honestly they could have made them six max and I'd have had the same excitement towards the new idea.

One thing that is really annoying is the hidden lobbies. I'm fine with hiding the player pool but wish there could at least have been a way to inform the user how many players had previously or were already entered into the SnG. This might drive the support for the remaining slots similar to how the last few places of a 7/9 SnG often fill up faster on other sites. I understand they put the estimated time on there but from my experience it was fairly inaccurate in the way it was calculated as I often waited much longer than that time.
