yes my answers have been a little unprofessional.. TBH thats how i have always been.
That's fine from my perspective. Don't mind snark.

The funny thing is... No one can see who regs at the same time so im not sure how you know the other reg has done it at the same time as you.
When I saw the same player in the same spot in relation to me across 6-8 games (e.g. 1 to my right, 1 to my left, 2 to my right), I assumed it had to do with registration patterns since no other pattern was discernable to me. I think additional (anecdotal) evidence for this came from the fact that I would sometimes notice that pattern disrupted by a single seat -- which would make sense if another player registered in between when that player and I registered for, say, the last three games.

As for Timhardy, yes if i test 4 and the seating is different then i know its random. You can all go home!
I'm glad you looked into it...but obviously 4 games is not an adequate sample size. If any statisticians want to work up some p values, that would be great...surely won't be statistically significant.
I'll just end by saying this: I'm happy to accept that you've looked into it and to track my games carefully going forward to see if I can find evidence. But I also would like to say that I've played ~1500 9 man regular SnGs on this site over the past few months and never had any complaints or concerns about seating being randomized. Then I started playing SnG 2.0s and noticed that over my first couple sessions that many of my tables had quite similar seating orders with the same regs being directly to my left/right. I posted about that non-confrontationally in this thread as soon as I noticed it:

Is the seating for SnGs supposed to be randomized? Because I'm pretty sure it is not for SnG 2.0s and is instead based on the order of registration. I've noticed that if I reg a few tables at a time I often have the same 1-2 regs to my direct left (who presumably reg'd multiple tables just before or just after me).
That's from page 15 of this thread and was posted 10 days ago. BeerBottlez immediately responded that he was noticing the same thing.
WPN Rep actively solicited feedback from multi-tablers in this thread. Numerous players raised this same concern. Don't get so defensive when folks actually come with the feedback you've solicited.
