Basically, yes. However, it will fluctuate a small amount depending on how big the jackpot is.

To be more precise, 10% is what will be collected by the site regardless of the jackpot size or how many times it hits. A player's effective rake for a particular game, based on the expected average prize pool, will depend a little on the size of the jackpot available.

---

While on the topic of rake. For the purpose of comparing to Jackpot Poker, where rake is listed as 6%, if we use the same method to calculate rake on SNG 2.0, it's actually 9.1% (8.25% for $109s). [For example, $0.50 / $5.50 = 9.1%]

Apples to apples and all that. Alternatively, we can think of Jackpot Poker as being 6.4% rake and SNG 2.0 as 10%.

Another glitch i noticed is when someone is all in that is less than the big blind....if someone flats, it's not the big blind, its the small blind. so say blinds are 50/100 and BB is all in with 20 chips....if someone wants to just limp pre, it's 50 chips, not 100.

I'm guessing if the big blind player has 70 chips, then limping would be 70?

On a tangent, is it possible to walk the bb when he has less than 1 SB? I think I remember this being a previous glitch in some game here.

Meaning if he has less than BB and more than SB? Yes I believe so.

This is crazy they can't get this right. Exactly right that people will not try this out if they expect a new game not to start for any length of time.

They should make a traditional lobby like every other site does for every other game

Played 3 games today and binked all 3. Things I noticed to today that were different from previous days

1. Very laggy today. Couple times, I and other players timed out.
2. Wait times were very short. Maybe 1-2 Minutes, however at the log in, said 1 1/2 hours wait time
3. A lot more fish in games today and games today appeared to super soft compared to the other days
4. Still have yet to hit any golden cards.

Looks like another jackpot hit. About 18 or 19k.

Anyone care to speculate what effect the addition of SNG 2.0 will have on SNC this week?

Assuming volume has increased overall, will more points be needed to min cash or with a theoretically larger prizepool, would the expanded number of payouts keep things roughly the same?

Yup. I see it too. Does it say what buy-in/stake it was? Jack pot up to 83K now.

It was for $9250 in a $27.50 game, which you can see right at the start of Thrash370's stream from today.

Thrash, are these profitable long term? I mean we all know spin and goes are ****.

Can we effectively make this a new form of "grind"? Or is the rake too damn high?
My first guess is if it is profitable.. its only very slightly. Guess that's just speculation now though

I don't think he'd be playing them if he didn't believe they were profitable

I mean spin and goes are profitable longterm but small edge pre rakeback large edge post rakeback.

These are insanely profitable right now, they feel like pre black friday games.

Yeah I gotta agree with Thrash on that one. First day I was skeptical, which is only why I put a min deposit thinking it was going to be another "hyper turbo scheme" but I was happily wrong.

Certainly getting the Pre-Black Friday vibes with this game. Since depositing $25, already ran it up to $160 and change. Once I hit $200, I'll jump on the next level.

Has any one created or made a spread sheet on their winnings/loses? That's the only negative thing about not having HUD/Software is can't keep track of that. Obviously can type up a spread sheet on Excel and fill it in, but I'm lazy and I do that enough at work already.

Why even have a average wait time at all?

Feel free to move this if I've posted in the wrong sub-forum.

1. Do we have an ETA on when SNG 2.0 will be released for other skins, specifically Black Chip Poker?

2. I ask that question to piggy back off my next issue. I go to americascardroom.eu and download the software, but when I attempt to install it, I get an error message stating that Americas Card Room is already installed on my computer. It asks if i want to delete it, but when I do, nothing happens.

Has this happened to anyone else? I have searched endlessly to try and find AmericasCardRoom files that may be linked to the install, but have been unsuccessful. I really want to try SNG 2.0 and want to deposit some money, but cant seem to install ACR right now.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks!

Try using the windows uninstaller or a 3rd party program like CCleaner to see if ACR files are lurking somewhere. Not sure if I have any other advice though, good luck.

This is what I have in mind for the prize pool. The individual places only show when you hover over the prize pool bar.

Looks good. Even better if the blind level timer shows seconds for the last minute.
