everyone seems to ask this, but I doubt even pokerstars can support that kind of traffic these days

The closest thing you can get to 45/180-mans are the on-demands, but those are down right now. On-demands are actually better than 45/180-mans tbh, since with a short late-reg you don't have to wait for every single person to get in before they start.

2) change the payout structure if can. Like one player mentioned when 4, or 5 players get paid but no adjustment to the top that kinda sucks. yeah its cool more people get paid but really the lure on average is winning a bigger prize not just the normal 4.5x for shipping a 9m SNG.

3) antes and prizepool in your face make it hard to see whats happening on the table itself sometimes

4) be cool if could rail the highest multipliers but this is not a big deal at all

Yeah I was thinking the same thing on number 4. See if the action is good, or everyone is being a NIT trying to squeeze in. Hopefully, they will as it will be fun to watch.

First place was $1080 and finished in around 4 hours , which is a reasonable amount of time

$50's would pay $2700 for first and $100's would play $5400 for first

Tell me multi-tabling those wouldn't be awesome =)
What the hell is the point of having this post in this thread or this forum for that matter?

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

I like the concept of these, just hoping there will be much improvement to the software as time goes by. Once this happens I can definitely see myself playing lots of these. Anyone know what the max amount of tables one can play at a time?

I think it's 30 for html tables (the new style -- jackpot and SNG 2.0).

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

Why is the hand history in an unreadable format for tracking our results? Is it that hard to provide the hand history in the same format as your other games?

It's kind of unbelievable with all the push backs and delays this is still released with the prize pool showing where it is and antes not getting pulled into the middle and getting stacked with blinds. These things should have been in the first wave of changes once the poker players looked at what the programmers put together imo.

They are doing this on purpose to purposely break huds

They are not providing the HH until after the game is over though, right? You have to request it for download.

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

I just played a session of these tonight. Overall I was very pleased. I definitely have some gripes (move the antes, get notes) but I think the games themselves are a good twist on regular SnGs. I'll drop some more feedback in tomorrow.

Max tables for 2.0 right now is 10 tables -- or that's all it would let me reg tonight at any rate. It popped up with a message saying you can only play 10 at once.

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

Ah, only 10. Thanks for the info.

@ glutenfree, I don't get why they went with a different format either. Perhaps it was seen as an improvement over the old format. PT/HM can probably be convinced to update so that at least tracking can be done. I just wish WPN would include the prize pool. :/

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but definitely move the dealer button onto the table instead of on the player name

Aside from the minor things already mentioned, I am really enjoying the format so far!

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

Haven't gotten to check these out yet because Mac but never paying first more than the minimum sounds bad. Players want to get unstuck. They can't do that if they can never win extra. Also players play for the big payouts. They don't get these unless the full mega jackpot is hit, right?

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

After playing a bunch of these I am really starting to like them alot, maybe I am just running well lol. However these are filled with rec players, the action is very wild and juicy. I hope this continues and they don't become reg fests. I think the flatter pay out structure attracts them. You really cant get hurt too bad in these.

Anyway a big thank you to the acr staff for coming up with something creative and new. I watched the twitch stream and am looking forward to oss cubed and a mobile app. keep up the good work..

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

Hi. Maybe someone here can help me out. Whenever I click into the SNG2.0 lobby, the Jackpot lobby, and my cashier part of each one of those lobbies is covered up by the bottom of the poker client where the ad banners and stuff are, thus blocking some of the buttons for register on jackpots and I'd assume a register button for the SNG2.0's also. It shows the select buy in for SNG2.0, yet no button to register. Part of my cashier is covered up also. I can use the main functions Deposit/Withdraw, but not all of the cashier is displayed. I hope that all kind of makes sense. I play on a Dell 30" ultrasharp, so I'm thinking maybe the 30" size or the resolution may be causing the problems. I've tried changing the resolution to a lower one but all that ends up doing is making the client lobby larger (it does not help display the register buttons or other parts of the cashier)
I would include a screenshot, but other than typing and playing poker I am not very tech. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

If their was a 6 player format starting with 1k chips on the same blind structure 2.0 has now (turbo sng) that would make for a better game imo.

As for mobile playing a single 9 man sng that could take 40 minutes on my phone makes me want to jump off a building before I would be doing that.

How unfair is it you ask one of the best SNG players of all time to write an ebook of the format where he clearly knows what it is exactly for months being already skilled so he will have a big edge anyway but now he knows the internal secrets along with some other people in the know before the format gets released? I'm sorry but for the network to say they want to cater this game towards fish/recs and do this is pretty ridiculous.

Now for recommendations:

- The prize pool text must be bigger and would be best to stick in the right corner where their is nothing in that space.
- Notes and color codes are necessary.
- A 10 second time bank is too small and means not that many will want to play 10 of these at once.
- Ability to change background colors would be nice (definitely me being biased since I don't like the default green one that much)
- I pulled a 5 payout for one of the few I played and noticed the first place prize increase was way too small compared to what you would get for a regular 9 man SNG paying out 3 places. The payout distributions need a little work imo.

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

^^^ two more obvious recommendations:

- Please put the antes all in the middle of the screen where the pot is.
- Please get rid of fractional chips in Jackpots and SNG 2.0 game and do the distribution the normal way.

Re: ACR new SNG 2.0

1. Antes have to go in the middle.

2. Prize pool is blocked by hole cards, but I actually kind of like the placement of the box instead of having to look around each table to find it or a separate lobby. I'd suggest just tweaking the box placement or just having 2 prizes per column so the prizes aren't blocked.

3. Fractional chips need to be removed. It's way too confusing to see stacks like 1770.50 chips when playing a bunch of tables.

4. There's currently a bug where if the player in the big blind is auto all-in for less than a big blind, others can open for illegal sizes. I opened for 230 at 75/150 when the big blind posted 80 chips.

5. Auto switch between tables seems to not be working properly. I tried cascading these games and was getting some tables popping up in front of others that already required action.

6. Allow note-taking for these and jackpots, please.

Some positive feedback for day 1:

These were honestly pretty damn fun. It adds a fun new element that we get to sweat each green/red/gold card prior to the game. I'm really happy to see that they're not hyper turbos.

This is a pretty non issue. In fact I was the one that pitched the idea of SNG 2.0 to ACR and was well aware of how the finish product would look unless they had a random change of heart at the end. You have a product that is the same structure as a 9 man turbo that any sng player would have played thousands of times in their life. The only "advantage" to be had in knowing early is studying ICM payouts for pay 2, pay 3, pay 4, pay 5, pay 6 etc. which I can guarantee you Collin Moshman (as well as myself) already have from not only playing hundreds of thousands of games but coaching sngs as well. I can't even imagine him having gained .05% ROI from knowing this early because I know i gained 0% ROI from understanding the format early.

Also look at the intent, ACR selling an ebook for $.99 isn't a get rich scheme it is meant to help players.

Is there a multiplier for these in terms of snc points like od's and jackpots get?

How many snc points are earned for say an 11 or a 27.50?

It's not a charity -- maybe they wanted to defray the costs of commissioning Moshman for writing the book. The truth is, if you're a recreational player who plans to play $5, $10, or even larger buy-in 2.0s, this book would only have to increase your ROI by like 1/10th of 1% to pay for itself incredibly quickly. And if you're a reg or a grinder, you can probably afford to invest $0.99 into your poker playing. Are we really at the point where we need to harsh WPN for offering a $0.99 eBook? It's not a big deal.
