Hey, everyone. I figured it would be a good idea to start a suggestion thread for Skillbet since I don't see one already.

Please add...

1. play-by-play action to the chat log at the table, like other poker sites have, showing the action, like, "Flop is Kh4dJs: Bill bet 4, Tommy called, Jim folded..." etc etc. That would be cool.

2. Four color deck.

3. Some kind of "sit out" button/check box for live games.

4. A nice hand history replayer, like Pokerstars or FTP has, would be awesome.

5. It would be great if the numbers next to the chips, showing the bet/raise size were bigger and easier to see.

6. During live games, it would be nice, when it flips over to your human opponent, if it showed their play timer, so we know how much longer they have to act.

7. A timebank.

8. An option to tile or cascade your tables, like on Stars or FTP.

9. Different deck/table display options would be cool too, like Stars/FTP has.

10. An option to speed up OR slow down the computers actions.

11. Some kind of VIP/rakeback program options. For me, since I'm not a high volume player, I would like some kind of flat rakeback option and be able to spend my skill points on additional cash back or on items in a Skillbet store, like hats/hoodies/keychains, etc.

12. Some kind of security token thing, like Stars/FTP has/have used, for additional account security.

13. Perhaps a "Vault" type option like Lock Poker has?

14. Other games would probably be cool too, like LHE or PLO.

Nice post. You covered most of my suggestions. I would like to reiterate a couple that I think are most important.

Hand History Replayer. I think this should be a top priority. It sucks to not know what the computer had in some situations. It's hard to develop strategies against them if you don't know their cards at showdown.

Rakeback. On most US facing sites there is some type of rakeback available. The bonus is great, but there needs to be something like that available at all times. I've put in a lot of volume lately and ran out of the deposit bonus. Now the high rake on challenges is hard to overcome. I would definitely put in more time if there were a steady rakeback (I am aware of the reload bonus available).

Limit on challenges. I can put in the most volume during the afternoon hours (US time). There are times when I have played 8 challenges and wait for several hours before I can play again at the level I wish. I have no problem not knowing the results for a long time (I don't know the results for a while as it currently stands). I just wish I could log a decent session and not have to wait for others to play. I wish you would consider upping the amount from 8 to 20. In the evening this really isn't a problem but I can't put in much time in the evening.

I can understand not implementing a full HH replayer. If you do, strategies to beat the bots will be quickly solved and eventually published or shared. I'm not sure that is best. However, I think rakeback and an increase in the number of challenges played at once will be mutually beneficial.

Overall, I really like the concept of the site. I hope it takes off.

your opponent would just take your buyin

Would only make sense to use when playing past 30 hands. I rarely do that, but it should be there for those that do.

thats too exploitable. i mean you would still have your buyin taken while you sit out even if playing past 30 hands.

if you are suggesting that the game is paused while someone is sitting out, i think your opponent would just get frustrated and quit to find someone else.

More stats for tracking your own challenge play.

-Challenge win-loss record and percent for every stake filterable for different time periods
-Percent of challenges finished positive/negative vs. bots
-Average winrate vs. bots would be cool
-Option to filter results by opponent

Please add .30/.60 with 90 buy in
Also please add .40/.80 with 120 buy in.
This way I can multiple table around the same stakes some more. Thanks

Thanks for adding the table, I already see people playing that level. It gives people a chance to play higher (give you more rake) but at the same time make such a big jump. Doubling buy ins is a huge jump up. Also the .15/.30 game seems to play all the time which was added as well. More game choices also = more possible tables to play.

i think it would be good to have a 10 second delay at the beginning of a live match. that way people can sit a table and do something else while waiting without having to dive for the pc to avoid missing the first hand.

This I totally agree with. Or at least an improvement to the game history browser. Currently very annoying to go through.

I also totally agree with these, though if I had to pick what I would like to see the most it would probably be the hand history during the game improvements , and a much better game history lobby. That thing ends up being a pain to look through etc. Even just adding the start time, Net profit/loss, and who it was against next to the games would be awesome.

Speaking of hand histories, it would be nice if they would appear in "converted" form like people post in the forums. It would also be nice if the pot size was displayed at the end of each betting round.

Any chance for PLO? That game would generate even more rake than holdem since some people play every single hand.

Personally, I'm against the idea of adding any more games for the time being. The traffic is already somewhat slow. Even though after sitting I can almost always get one table going within a few minutes, I'd much rather not have to deal with a split of traffic.

Well you also have to take into consideration the what it would be required to teach bots PLO and to make them effective at it. Also it is nearly impossible to bluff from early position with potlimit omaha making it harder to fold bots on marginal hands which can create some really hairy pots.

I love PLO, but we don't have the AI for it. We could make it, and would love to do it -- but we have too many higher priority items for the intermediary term.
