That one will sting for a long time, looked like both smited when it was just out of smite range(1060) and in that case 2nd smite wins.

Then a huge tp play by huni sealed it, huni had spent the last 10 mins being completely useless since syndra could 1 shot him returned the favor and varus fails in panic fights.

Skt might have won even if they didn't get the smite given how damage huni unloaded.

I'd replace him with pretty much any challenger ADC

skt just limping their way to finals, although they did very well being ice cold in g5 and forcing the rng choke (wtf was that useless lee pick though)

overall level of play is pretty sad this year. s4 samsung white was best league played ever, so was rox/skt and skt/samsung last year, this is just... meh. exciting though!

Solid showing from WE, the margin on the fight in g2 going as is vs rout in their favor was razor thin and they almost certainly win the game from that point.

The 5 ban system has been a success and the pick bans have been more interesting than any worlds I can remember. In particular the top lane has changed a great deal over the course of the tourney.

SKT finally falls, I think RNG probably wins their series if they don't give Galio every game. Still, it's Korea on top and China second with no western team in the top five.

One thing I do hope they revisit is the group system. Group C arguably had the best teams from the top three regions in SSG, RNG, and G2. If SSG drops one game to G2, they are eliminated there and since SSG/RNG are arguably 1 and 2 in the world, G2 could have been the 3rd best team and gotten a real **** deal.

With two groups we could have seen something like this:

Group A: LZ, RNG, Team WE, TSM, MSF, FNC, FW, 1907
Group B: EDG, SKT, SSG, IMT, C9, G2, ahq, GAM

With the top 4 advancing from each and getting to see many more matchups.

The current format leaves room for teams like SSG to get eliminated and teams like GAM to make quarterfinals based on luck of the draw.
