I feel bad for G2, they are probably better than any non-Korean, non-WE team. Bit surprised TSM failed, but I guess they aren't flexible enough. I still feel they are likely barely top8 team.

Misfits are really fun to watch, hopefully they draw RNG in quarters.

splitting pool2 into 2 different pools would be an improvement

like
Pool2: SKT, SSG, RNG, TSM
pool3 : MSF, IMT, AHQ, GAM

Having the nr1 seed is more of a reward this way

I'd probably just switch groups of 4 into groups of 8 instead with top 4 moving to playoffs.

AHAHAHAHAH TSM RIP

Janna and Sej on the same team is basically an auto win at worlds, just an insane winrate and somehow TSM let the other team get it in 2 of their games yesterday and when they had the chance to pick it they would prioritize Rakan or Lulu first. Really bad drafts and research imo. I dont know who is incharge of their drafts but I thought they did a pretty terrible job.

Yeah, every match its about ardent censor and Janna can instantly proc for the whole team and peel an engage at the same time.

She's always had a toxic kit and then they made a broken item taylor made for her.

It's surprising how often she gets through

Yea not a fan of the ryze pick, seems to be doing very poorly overall at worlds. Ori / Cassio much better, Ori especially in a kogmaw comp. Im still on the fence with Jayce.

I think C9 have best chance of upset, but still only like 35% since Sneaky is a bottom tier ADC at this stage. Depending how these series go I could see myself picking RNG > SKT.

Royal looked good, fanatic snuck out of a 1 team group. Royal is a big favorite.

Samsung isn't great, but they'd be solid favorites vs fanatic.

I simply think G2 games proved RNG is definitely beatable and FNC isn't much worse than G2. FNC's only real weakness is Broxah.
