What else are they gonna run? They play for DL and hope that Zion carries the odd game. They run 3 low damage engage/disengage champs and DL. Zion is tasked with trying to splitpush and snowball.

Chop down turrets with DL, securing that the game goes late so DL can farm.

they weren't playing the protect the adc comp. its supposed to be feed the darius top with jinx as back up late game. lulu with a fed darius is pretty scary but they forgot to have engage and darius fell behind so they couldn't use their first strategy. its super hard to siege vs braum shield and ekko zoning as jinx. thats why game took forever

i really think tsm is being really underrated here. bjergsen is like waaaaaaay better than nagne or xpeke. dude gets no credit. tsm just needs to make sure they dont throw dyrus under the bus and they will prob come out of groups. But again knowing tsm, they will throw dyrus under the bus and repeat the same mistakes. lol tsm

I will say that the first day made it pretty clear that picks/bans are going to be the most important part of the game. If you can get a comp that the other team isn't prepared for (C9 vs. AHQ being the most obvious of these) then you can bait them into picking a comp that gives you a clear advantage. It's also interesting that when a new meta of must pick/bans comes in that haven't been there before, it leaves up power picks that weren't necessarily there in previous competitive games.

I'm a pretty big TSM fan but have lower hopes this worlds than any other. The legends episodes in Korea didn't show a very productive atmosphere, and in the most recent one a bunch of the members talked about how they made a lot of mistakes and the bootcamp wasn't very productive. I also got the impression that their attitude at the moment is sort of a goofy "we have no chance" mindset.

sure but he's indeed not as bad as everyone makes him out to be

If you get 4-man dove at lvl 2 a couple times it's not because dyrus sucks it's because the whole team fails to react
