Hello summoners!

I want to give something back to the 2+2 community.
So please enjoy my solo Q guide (not saying its the best but im pretty sure some tips will help you out!)

A little bit about myself, i have been playing league since 2010 and i have over 3000 ranked games. I have played between Bronze III & diamond I, and i was stuck the longest in silver league, where i drastically changed my mind set to become a better player in league.

My summoner's nicknames are
  1. Jônathan
  2. 300 gold a minute
  3. IvIacIK1ll123

What kind of players can u expect to play league?!
A player who plays for fun, and doesn't care for a win or a lose.
A competitive player who wants to play against the best players.
Or you have mix of booth depends from person to person.

What's up with all the rage in solo q ?!
Most players are between the age of 14 & 20 years old,
which results into players having a bad day at work or school (getting bullied for example),they had a fight at home (verbal). They come online on league trying to relax and if one thing goes wrong or somebody says something against the player who had a bad day he will go nuts.

This is why you need to put players on ignore list/ignore them, dont even try to argue with them it wont help it will only get worse.

Play your best champs/follow the meta.
We all know lolking, look up yourself and try to find a champ you should stop playing in ranked. And no dont tell me 'your getting teamed up with ******s all the time'.

With meta i mean try to read updates / look up whats going to be op.
This changes from bronze-diamond league.
Certain champs/playstyles beat gold> harder then they do in gold<.
Example (master yi jungle) --> in gold> this is a great champ to just farm the jungle, and refuse to gank other lane's. But in gold< junglers are forced to help other lanes since they will snowball alot harder then they would do lower then gold.

Non meta aka 'troll set ups' dont do these unless u know its gonne work!:
example: Me and a mate invented a bot lane set up that wins the game 70% in silver (it was Taric-Soraka bot lane) which crushed a ton of players bot lane. It was my ticket out of silver league, and when i came in gold they nerfed support, which then we booth stopped playing that ridic combo.

Things you should do, and what you shouldn't do

Do's: The current winning meta is that all players buy wards! I would suggest that u buy atleast 1 pink ward during the game (even if you are ad) Ask your team to help out with the wards. Try to pink ward early on (the bush between red buff & mid for example is a great spot)
Dont's: Say WE NEED VISON FFS NOOB SUPPORT

Do's: If enemy jungler ganks top after 11+mm do drake
Dont's: Gank top after 11+mm (when drake is still open)

Do's: Main a champ (try to get a hypercarry),even when your counterpicked you should be able to handle it like a bawse.
Dont's: Pick a champ you never played before in ranked. If you dont like to play normal games, you can always create a smurf (costs around 50€)

Do's: Make sure u have a champ for each lane

Do's: Time buffs drakes and nashors (buffs 5 minute drake 6 and nashor 7)(you can put timestamp on in settings)

Do's: try to get team items such as locket zeke's frozen heart. Twin shadows if you lack cc.

Do's whenever max build, let your teammates farm.

Do's: Share kills if it isnt going to be a kill+assist (more teamgold)

Dont: gank a top lane if its completely lost
Example: Enemy renekton 6-0, singed 0-6.
If you gank top lane singed will be worth $$ again.

Do's: Respect pick order (meaning if you are 3th pick, and 2nd & 3th pick pick at the same time let him pick first)

Do's: Get a support page (red arm: yellow gp5: blue mr/ap:quint gp5)

Do's: Focus on objectives (like drake) this will boost the morale of your team.
Variance
Not going to explain this term since we are all pokerplayers

Yet il give u some usefull tips how to reduce variance!
Variance in league means

You (decent player & decent internet) with 4 monkeys versus 5 monkeys.
You have a 4/9 shot that one of your teammates will dc/quit/feed on purpose/have a bad day/try out a champ in ranked /play a champ he cant play at all.

You can reduce variance by:
- Checking your teammates their lolking
- Go duo with a respectable player
- Play your best role

[B]Being Premade[B]

I have played a ton of duo Q, and it has his cons & negs.

Cons:
- Reduce variance
- Communication with a teammate
- Same level & thinking wise

Negs:
- If you say 'bot premade' you might take somebody's main role (support-ad) which forces them into a role they cannot play
- You mostly refuse to communicate with the team and blame them for being bad
- Incase not "bot premade'' one of you guys will be last pick and has to play support in 90% off the cases.

Smurf accounts

Great way to have fun whenever feeling demotivated in life/league
The fastest way to get a smurf is to buy 4x boost (weekly boost +10x boost) Play 3v3, and you are level 30 in 50+-games.

Surrender/ff ! Im so done with this game
Whenever u have an ff vote, just dont vote at all, you can move the screen away into a corner where you just cant see it anymore, if players are negative. Just tell them only losing players surrender.
Incase they dont stop talking ignore list

In case 4v5 ok then you may surrender.

Friends who need 'help'
Dont go premade with somebody whos 3<divisions lower then you, this will hit you hard in hidden elo.
Stop duo Qing with your irl mate's,, its hard to admit but some friends sucks more then a random person does. (only if they are bad)

Use D.S.T

That's right you should use the D*ck sucking theorie.
Meaning be nice as hell to your teammates, even if they feed.
Say positive things such as hey man good job! That was awesome mid!
Aw man close .

Say sorry whenever u made a mistake!
Dont argue with anybody (when you were 14 you wouldnt accept feedback either didn't you?!)

If i missed out on anything just ask. Hope this helps out some players on 2+2

Great tips belg, DST has been very important in my experience and definitely saves games (especially in season 4).

I actually think the "fastest" way to get a smurf is to just buy a fresh or low elo lvl 30 account for ~$20. No idea how legit those sites are but they seem legit, google brings some up. Probably cheaper than buying boosts and you don't have to play any games to get there, plus if its just some bad player selling his account you will get some free champs/runes/pages/skins.

Pretty sure I`d already be long out of silver 1 if I would just stick with my main champs. But I really dislike playing normals - I`m really competitive and I just don`t get excited in normals.

I`ve heard a lot of players say gp5 is garbage, I personally dislike it too as I like to play really aggressive in lane. Quints are 18 gold per minute, I just don`t feel like this is worth anything. Don`t know what the avg game lenght is but let it be 35, that would be 35 x 18 = 630 gold. We could take something like Armor quints - which would be 12.78 Armor.

Which at 20g per point is worth 255g.

255/18 = 14.17

So at the 14 min mark you would theoretically pull ahead in stats there is a lot of trades in between there - getting pushed out of lane because you lose a trade has really high opportunitycosts. Guess they might be ok on like Leona who is really tank trough her W(I think its w).

^5.3gp/10x6=31.8g a minute(dont forget the first 10 minutes are the most important)
Masteries 1.5g/
Not counting support items.
So thats 300g+- = 2assists (meaning do you get 2 more assist on avarage each round?! before 10mm?)

The gp5 build is for defensive support players. It will not work on leona / annie.
Its more for taric-soraka-etc

i would be afraid of the person trying to reclaim the account or it getting banned later on

I only counted quints tho, was too lazy to look up everything :P

It`s 9x1.41 and 3x 4.26 = 25.47 armor @20g point = 510g - you are pulling ahead in stats at 16 mins. You are obvisouly going to lose trades so that brings opportunitycost (Getting pushed out of wave and missing cs).

One tip I read somewhere that makes some sense is that pushing/getting bottom lane inhib before any other inhib is the best strategy. The reason being if you get that down, the other team will have to send at least 1 person back to clear the incoming super minions. Given that it's coming from the bottom lane, that is the longest distance they would have to travel to get to Baron, so you can help to set up a 4v5 at Baron or even get one for free.

Ok so i forgot some stuff , not gonne make a new thread about it il just do it here.

Make a range for yourself with at least 3 roles in it.
If you want to play and test champs in solo Q, that's up to you.
Just try to have winning 'range for yourself'

For example:
I refuse to play top since i will get owned/hateful spot. I do not have the knowledge to play top at a decent level, this is why im an easy target for ganks+im extremely frustrated when i die 1 time since top lane is such a snowball fest.

Mid: Karthus
Jungle:Yi
Support:Janna/taric
Ad: Cait/graves

Level, and start thinking like a winning player

In the current meta we currently start (blue if orange side - red if blue side) and we will try to gank top lane as 1st.
Meaning this results into 2v2 most of the time.

This being said il give you an example why you should not go for top lane (not always).
Your top laner is malphite (tp flash) versus a tryndamere(flash ignite)
You are amumu and the enemy has master yi as jungle(smite ignite)

Their killing potential is a lot higher then yours, so i just ignore top and keep on farming/ganking.

Adjust your item build compared to their enemy team. Always try to get the best items vs the enemy!

Cba to explain u he knows that i know that he knows...

Early & mid game tips

Whenever your lane is a some or what defensive player, and suddenly he tries to go super aggro--> their jungler is close.
When you have the possibility to get a big item on first return, try to stay as long as possible in lane to get this item (for example bf sword)
Late game tips

When you have an inhib down, and your team is doing nothing, let the big minion clear your mionon wave, so the enemy team doesn't get extra farm.

Dont go bot lane if the enemy team is grouping already, if they see that 1 player (unless shen or the player has tp) bot lane they will go baron, and your team will not be able to defend 4v5 since you are not there.

Can't come up with other stuff, might add more later on.
