You cant skip Silver promos but once in Silver you can jump from s5 to s3. It actually says so if you go to the "Leagues"-tab.

Well I've proven to be worthy of at least gold-tier so its just a grind to get back there

3-0 in bronze so far and at 90 lp (+28+30+32)

Undefeated in bronze in my entire lol carreer

S4 - B3. And that sounds about right for my skill level.

When I returned to LoL in the last post season, I was put into S4 after going 3-7 in placements and got massively carried in 2 out of those 3 wins; this time around I went 5-5 with better performance.
Still, I think this is a better reflection of where I belong.

6-1 now and 2-1 in promos to silver

We were dominating the whole game but then our VI decided to go 1v5 couple times and we lost

so looks like secondary role support means your primary role is going to be support anyway.
going primary jungle, secondary support, and have a 7-3 split of sup vs jungle games. ugh.

1-6 so far in my placements with games either being me having lead gold in my team at jungle or getting stomped in lane as adc. Had one game the opposing cait had 275 cs at around 35 mins and I'm in middle bronze. Seemed a bit lopsided but it's whatever. Most games I've lost I've had the chance to carry or did completely awful no games have felt "close".

I'm riding the nautilus freelo train so far in placements

3-0, 15 kda, almost 100% kill participation in the first 10 minutes, cc is just the best thing by far in silver/gold elo

The % of people in diamond+ being moved down to plat is probably less than just the number of people in one division of silver

Well the distribution % is what matters.

for example:

Plat could be Diamond5 +
Gold Plat 5+
Silver Gold 5+
Bronze 1-3 Silver 5+
Bronze 4-5 Bronze 1-5

Settle an argument for me- how should a Fizz/Morgana vs Sivir/Braum lane go? Ignore junglers for the sake of the discussion. This is in bottom lane, fwiw.

post placements, the split has been 11 support vs 1 jungle as jungle primary, support secondary. wtf

Sivir/Braum obviously wins, a melee champion in a ranged matchup doesn't really have a chance. Even if the Morgana is the one CSing you should be able to push them in relatively easy.

Found this a little surprising. I always considered blitz one of the supports more vulnerable to counters (leona, ali, morg, ez, sivir). I suppose it could be an issue of sample size.
