She's annoying, but winning lane is about coming out of laning ahead, not necessarily killing your opponent. Just CS better as she's a safe lane and isn't as aggressive as some of the others. You might be able to farm pretty safely.

but that's pretty much all you can do unless soraka misplays

and in teamfights she's pretty decent too with that instant silence and very nice healing (her ult even ignores grievous wounds)

If you're facing a Soraka in lane, just roam. You won't win trades but you can out-rotate her and create pressure elsewhere.

When you win your lane like a boss so much so that your lane opponent only has 1.1k more gold than the AFK 21 minutes into the game.

Man it is so amazing to finish games where the enemy jungler doesn't get sated and you've been sated for 10+ mins

Huge mistake I see soloQ players make all the time is not prioritizing devourer stacks. If you're going a sated champion you have to be farming your stacks non stop and get that **** ASAP. Buy pinks and pressure bot lane for dragons. Farm scuttle crabs on cooldown. I always see junglers sitting in lane farming minions and it's so tilting. A jungle camp gives nearly the same amount of gold as a minion wave.

I would be comfortable playing Trist here though I think this is a tough matchup with an average Thresh player, but I feel much more confident in team fights to make up for it. Other good choices are probably Corki, Kalista, maybe Jinx. I have a 60% winrate with Ashe but I stopped playing her because I think she just gets so easily bullied in team fights and its hard to fend for yourself, though I think the lane matchup might be advantageous.

I see junglers farm lane at the most random times denying the laner gold and xp while they could've just farmed jungle
