As far as I can tell from your story, Thresh didn't do anything worse than leaving the game. You did. Yes, he was a jackass, but nothing reportable from what you've told us. Now if we had champ select/postgame chat you've got me. All you claimed he said in game was "I'm not helping you".

Wat? Nothing reportable??? You need to reread what I wrote.

1. He was extremely abusive in chat for no reason
2. He picks a support and refuses to buy wards because he wants to punish me.
3. He destroys my laning phase on purpose. He wasn´t even trying to farm, he just autoed the creeps as hard as he could which meant both of us missed it.

All of these things are toxic. He's actively trying to destroy the game just because he's mad he didn´t get his pick when he had no right to it.

Yes, I think its true. I think that if a player is toxic to the game then he should be reported. It doesn't matter "who started it" and "who finished it" or "who was the most toxic". Every toxic player should be punished.

In my opinion my actions are more defensible than his because what I did wasn't malicious. I didn't want to ruin anyone's game. I just couldn't take yet another game were I would be subjected to this kind of **** so I gave up.

I didn't write here about this incident because I felt proud of what I did or that it was the optimal or correct response. I did it to demonstrate how fkn fed up I am with the behavior of people in this game. A troll managed to drive me out of the game. Hurray for him.

Not asking you to persuade him to be the better man or let him adc, just reporting you for rage (not even mad) quitting.

Alright Wolf I'll bite:
1. Abusive in Chat: As far as you told us, the punishable abuse was in pregame chat. No logs of that unfortunately, it would really put a lot of these pictures together.
2. REFUSES TO BUY WARDS ;_; : If what items a specific champ buys are now under investigation, that's meta enforcing. That's not what reporting is about.
3. Congrats, he trolled you. However, your team won't see the Thresh that is ruining your CS and happy time. They see a Dbag ADC that quit early without a word.
4. You didn't want to ruin anyone's game? You didn't, but with your early exit, you also didn't expose mr. Teary Eyed last pick for being the griefer that he is. He could get away scot free from this which could ruin other players games down the road. THINK OF THE CHILDREN.

I prob would have done the same thing myself in heat of the moment, so meh. However calling someone that says they'd report you over the Thresh a ****** is ridiculous. They can't review the tape of the bot lane and see how he ruined your laning phase. You have to tell them yourself rather than ragequit.

Sure, pregame chat isn´t on the tribunal record, but you as a player saw the chat so it's your duty to report him for that. It should go on his record and if he gets enough chat abuse reports he will hopefully be punished. You also have context of the whole scenario so you should recognize that he is being maliciously toxic.

I don't really know what exactly constitutes a bannable offense but actively refusing to work with your team has to be on that list. Just see what they did to SaintV when he got mad at his jungler in a soloq game, chased him around and last hit every jungle creep to prevent him to cs. They banned him outright for that one incident. Sure, higher standards cause he's a pro but it's still a precedence.

Things are a little different when you're streaming to thousands including several Riot employees than when you're one of the millions in the regular player pool. Notably, they saw in chat he was intending to be malicious, whereas this report is going to Tribunal.

Grey area. On it's own it would certainly not be reportable. But as a part of the whole picture it can be used to lend weight to other offenses (he said he wouldn't help me and he also said "buy your own wards" which I failed to mention earlier).
I complained to my team before I quit, hoping it would help. They asked him to stop. He didn't.

I honestly think that scary_tiger wouldn't report me and not thresh if he was a player on my team in that game. The ****** comment was in the heat of the moment and out of line. Again, why not report both? Do you only report one player (presumably the biggest toxic player) in each game? Do you never consider the prehistory of what each player does?

True, and that's the most tenuous of his offenses. But if everybody reports him for not playing along with the team, then that can be considered into it imo.

Dude, you said you wouldn't report him which I thought meant you thought he didn't do enough wrong to merit a report. I think that would be wrong of you, both for the health of the game (if he gets enough reports then they can't just ignore it, even if there is no on-server record) and also because it would be extremely unfair.
