In the realm of just not fair, last pick:

Bronze1ForLife: mid is the only page i have a rune page for, so id pref mid. but i will fill

I look at his lolking, he has two ranked matches, 1-1, and his rune page is 9 armor marks, 9 scaling magic resistance marks, and three tier 2 flat armor seals.

And I just dodged the last game because I got the Rengar from the previous match, and the top takes Teemo.

Rengar is pretty good if you have games on him, he bursts so hard and can just 100-0 the most fed champ on their team pretty often

Lost my first plat V series 2-3 while playing roles all over the place (Played everything but supp in that series). Got back into series after one game, decided to go back to basics. Played J4 jungle all 4 games and my overall K/D/A was 10/9/68. I'm in plat bitches!

A fed Rengar is a complete terror.

He's actually a lot stronger than I think a lot of people give him credit for. I feel like he can probably crush solo-q pretty damn hard if you're good at him.

Yeah, not so much in the hands of the guy who says, "Who counters Jarvan?" in champion select, and then when in game they have a teleport Jarvan and ignite Yi he says, "I hope Yi comes top and not Jarvan. Uh oh, it's Jarvan going to need a lot of ganks."

He's good in solo queue because people (particularly supports and junglers) refuse to buy an early oracles. By the time they do, Rengar is usually 16 and can outrange oracles sight range. Basically you need to be able to spot him from running by/around your team and instagibbing your AD/AP.

I really wish they'd remove duo queue from ranked. Third and fifth pick call adc. First pick asks third pick what adc he plays? Ezreal/Twitch/Cait... and those are our bans.

Nah, I wouldn't dodge that, got to save it for my next champion select. Fourth pick calls adc or mid, gets neither, is now Zilean support for surprisingly the second time in ranked. Fifth pick takes Teemo top.

The matchmaking system doesn't handle it very well, and the same logic that keeps three or four people queuing together being a good idea in ranked applies to two.

The logic in duo queue matchmaking is: it queues up people around the same MMR as the higher ranked person. Because if they averaged the 2, it's exploitable.

Diamond 1 could queue with silver 1 and.play with gold 1's. D1 crushes and free elo for silver 1.

Current way is exploitable, but not as much as averaging them.

Anything and everything is a potential for toxic behavior. It's not fair to use that as an excuse. People who are toxic will be toxic.

It's not the best choice in how to handle things, but it's certainly not a giant issue. The real issue that you're having is just people trolling to get what they want. Nothing they do is going to fix that.
