Yeah if you crush that hard you will occasionally jump divisions, winning my gold 5 promo took me to gold 3

meh giving my best when I play support but its disappointing to have ur adc with 100cs at the 30 min mark.

I need advice but no one answered (( :how do u beat eve? (if Im 1st pick I now ban her)
invisibility is really hard to play against without the oracles.

pink wards

Oracles actually doesn't help with Eve, it's always been pinks. I would say pinks are still quite effective at stopping her, if you place it carefully (you should probably avoid the typical spots) you're paying 100 gold to spot her out which is worth it.

But yeah, the simplest way is to ask the person banning in champ select to ban her because even if you are solid against her your teammates are probably not. Shouldn't be hard to convince anyone these days...

She's not *that* strong right now though, she's just really effective against champs weak against ganks. She's really REALLY squishy so if you are ahead in your lane you don't have much to worry about her, trade back with her instead of 100% running if you see an opportunity, she cannot duel you until much later. Also, pay careful attention to your laner, if you see them running at you at an unexpected time assume Eve is ganking.

Eve has a lot of weaknesses, I don't think she deserves all the bans she's getting. A pink ward on your back bush (river if purple, tribush if blue) is a good investment if you're going to be pushed up in lane for a while. She's very squishy and has a tough time in the jungle, so if you're the jungler you can try to find her in her jungle and you should be able to kill her with most junglers. A lot of botlane combos should be able to burst her down if she shows up, so that's often the best move, and just generally she's pretty weak so any time you can force an even fight you should come out ahead. Either have lanes that can push up and brush off her gank like Renekton, or ward, or play the lane passively if you're vulnerable to her.

Had such an OP bot lane but of course mid and top are challenged. Mid is last pick and correctly identifies her opponent as Vi... so picks her main Kat with 400 games. Gives up first blood before I get to second buff. Top is a Mundo main with 700 games and just spams help pings all day, when I "finally" come top at like five minutes in, we kill Olaf and I'm Xin with 300 health and 0 mana and he's just like you stay in lane I'm going to go jungle now. I spend the whole game as Xin covering top because he doesn't feel like staying in lane and covering mid because she dies over and over. We were still in it until Mundo decides to start intentionally feeding because Sivir/Annie so OP, but argh. Mundo and Kat both had positive winrates but I need to start prioritizing dodging teams that have people that "main" a character, they have above average skills with their champion but way below average game knowledge when it comes to how to win games.

Assuming you are equally good at every role and wanted to carry yourself from Silver to Plat+ how would you prioritize each role (I usually fill based on teammate competence)? What champs are must learns.

Based on BB's feedback I starting learning top so I could carry with bruisers when I didn't get jungle. After a couple games where I obliterated top (latest one was 4-0, 160 cs at 20:00 including a roam to participate in a big mid fight at 20:00) but still lost I'm questioning how strong top is relative to say ADC.

Right now I'm thinking:
Jungle>ADC>Top>Mid>Support

I keep the champ pool pretty small except for my main Jungle:

Jungle pool:
#1 Olaf
#2 Shyv
#3 Wukong (based on comps)
#4 Nasus (somtimes as a counter pick if they don't have a strong jungler)
#5 Nocturne (to counter global ults on occasion)
#6 Amumu (if I think I want to gank a bit more early than I normally do but also want team fight comp)

ADC pool:
#1 Lucian (always when available)
#2 Sivir
#3 Cait (banned out only)

Top pool:
#1 Shyvana
#2 Rengar
#3 Nasus (as a counter pick)

Mid pool:
#1 Riven (far and away my best)
#2 Zed
#3 Lux

Support pool (really doesn't come up much):
#1 Taric
#2 Sona

surely support is > top in game influence, but that's a discussion we've had a lot already

Because of influence on bot lane? Not being able to shove lanes in Silver must be a very big drawback though (particularly in Season 4 with longer games and more difficulty finishing).

yeah, dragon etc. i guess a teleport top might fix that problem?

Are you asking what role should you look to play, not which role is most important? Cause if so I would say:

support > jungler > rest

ADC usually depends on a good support to win lane unless there is a huge skill or matchup disparity. If you are a good support you can win the lane for your adc even if they are subpar, cause at silver+ even a moron can last hit decently and engage if you initiate. Obv winning bot lane snowballs your adc and leads to dragons and lots of global gold for a team. Also imo most importantly to the question of what YOU should play, even with the meta changes, people don't want to support because they are bad at it, so if you are good at it you can majorly impact your team due to being much better than a replacement level player.

Jungler is obv cause you can help any/every lane snowball, and most people want to play top/mid/adc over jungle though obv a lot more junglers than support players.

The biggest thing is the opposing support is often there reluctantly and just dicking around with Nidalee support or whatever, even if it shouldn't be the most impactful role, being a competent one you'll win at a very high percentage.

Also, top is weird because if you snowball hard you can basically carry the game by yourself through either endless split pushing or just being a monster in team fights. However a lot of the time you are on an island top and by the time laning phase is ending the game is already practically over because your mid/bot towers are gone, the enemy team has multiple dragons, you lose map control, and your team is raging.

i am learning how to carry teams from the top lane. i just need to learn how to finish.

get a lead top, shove the lane hard and then run around the map randomly killing people. one of the best ways to reverse a losing game elsehwere is to grab a pink ward, ping and say "im coming for dragon" and go straight to the pit. just gotta make sure your lane is good and shoved.

like that shyvana game last night, for example. i came out of the top lane 1/1 (enemy jungler got a kill on me) w/ a 35 CS lead. renekton built tanky early and was shoved into his tier 2 turret.

i wandered around the map for 10 minutes (team had a 12-5 deficit), got a dragon and got about 8 kills. eventually was enormous at 13-1 before our midlaner and i combined our efforts to throw the game. (note to self: 13-1 does not mean you can 1v5 the enemy team, 1v3 maybe, but not 1v5).

also killing the enemy jungler at his red when you're blue side is free elo

(but be sure your mid laner knows you are going there and has his lane shoved or it can turn ugly real quick)

your champ pool is way too large for climbing

if you want to climb play 2 champs consistently 3 max. It really doesn't matter who you play as long as you play it consistantly. You can play urgot or ryze to diamond.

Its a min/max style of play but if you want to climb getting really good a 1-2 champs is the way to go. stay away from the fotm train tho, I was crushed by a rumble/mf nerf, if you want to specialize pick specialized heros

if you can win 60% of all games you rise 250 elo in 100 games, thats good enough. gold to d1 in 300ish games
