Thoughts on the format? What champs are OP? What strategies are best? Best summoners to pick? What 3 bans do you use for your champs, etc etc.

I've been playing Fiddlesticks. Fear+lvl 2 drain does insane damage but he's vulnerable to anything that can knockup or interrupt his channels.

I usually ban Riven, Lee and Sivir and go flash+ignite.

The biggest problem is if people pick cleanse but it isn't that common at silver.

Only have played a couple games but:

Heal/Barrier do have better equity than ignite early on. Flash doesn`t help you at all in a 1on1 situation. If I see you having flash I just go allin on you early on and force you to go out of lane and then push the lane into tower. There is like no way you are going to beat me when I got one useful summoner more.

Champions no clue, don`t think sivir is banworthy as she has no killpotential in lane imo. I guess vayne could be really annoying as she could just go in on you and when you start beating her she just condemns you away.

Nunu is a notorious 1v1 beast, fizz was a favorite of mine in dominion going bot and allin asap, has a good level 2

In my experience when people try to all-in me early I fear them and run away. Once I reach lvl 4 its really hard to all-in me anyways, i win most duels if I get to fear-silence-drain someone with ignite on top.

Besides, a flash lets you escape an all-in, so it´s not completely useless. And later on I need it to be able to gap close and pull off a combo.

The reason I banned sivir is because her Q zoned me so hard I couldn't do a thing vs her. And her spellshield counters me pretty hard as well. She's probably not ban worthy for most other champs.

On another note... I wish they would let you play best of 3-5-7 etc. I'm spending 5x more time queueing up new games and doing picks/bans than I am actually playing. Maybe that changes at a higher level where people don't die as much but most of my games are done before lvl 6.

Bo3 would be nice.

For bans, I've been going with Nunu, Ori, and Riven/Draven. Lee sounds like a good one though. Nunu is the only one I'm really adamant about banning, though.

I'm playing mostly Syndra atm and liking it quite a bit. Lots of bullying potential and a lot of kill threat if you hit 6. If not, you can shove them in to force them to miss CS and win that way, though I haven't actually gotten that far yet. I like Ziggs a lot too. Less kill pressure but way more turret pressure with passive. I tried Swain once since his EQ combo sounds good, but I'm not really sure if he can finish a kill very well.

What are you guys building for items? I think 2x Doran Rings/Blades are pretty much mandatory, but after that IDK. I'm thinking just keep building Amp Tomes or Longswords afterwards. Just load up on damage and either kill or zone them.

Heimer is unbelievably strong in 2v2

Good poke, easy cs with turrets, zone enemy from cs with turrets, passive heals you and teammate.

Ran heimer/ziggs and won 6 in a row, our poke was immense and no enemy could dive us thanks to turrets/minefield/grenade stun. Just shove into turret and then poke enemy at turret while they cant cs.

I usually ban Ziggs cause his poke is really annoying. On fiddle i actually like to max E first cause due to its range it's almost always free poke and it helps in cs'ing.

I also think that flash is really important. For example on Fiddle to get/keep them in your ulti or on other champs to get the kill when they have gap closers/flash.
