gotta say dyrus's equalizers have been a little underwhelming. they haven't been able to combo it with crescendo at all.

You need like j4/kennen to combo for equalizer properly, sona isnt enough to lock a team in it.

one gripe:

if you have this ill, hyped up analyst deck... why are the commentators (who i have been listening to for a half hour now) do the post-game breakdown?

The Canadians on TSM played well (Oddone, Wildturtle).
Regi was abysmal
Dyrus had some nice rumble ults, but had no coordination with Xpecial who needed to use Crescendo and Equalizer in combination to secure maximum damage

Sadly TSM had first pick and got Sona...who did jack all the entire game. Regi's Ahri is pretty good too, its bizzare they didn't decide to go with the Ahri first pick.

I think Dyrus just looked bad because we expect him to be better than that (and Dyrus clearly expects it as well). He wasn't horrifically bad like Regi and sometimes Xpecial were, but he also wasn't as solid as we're used to seeing.

The game wasn't really his fault though. His performance would have been sufficient if Regi did anything but what he did (that is, get dumpstered) and Xpecial wasn't pretending to be Chauster.

And I also will never understand letting Ahri go in favor of Sona. Xpecial's probably the last person on TSM I would worry about in terms of champions. Even if he wasn't, securing one of Regi's champions, few as they are, is way more important. Especially when it's as strong a pick as Ahri. Seems like TSM were baiting the Ahri pick like LD were, and it worked just as well lol. Just ****ing pick it yourselves, jfc.

TSM always does this. It has to be their biggest leak. First pick Sona... give free Ahri.

I swear, my dog (who was sleeping at the time) lifted her head just as TSM locked in Sona, looked directly at my screen, shook her head, then went back to sleep.

Obviously group B will be more interesting. Only interesting things in A - can LD beat OMG or SKT once and who wins the two head to heads between the advancing teams.

Also the analyst table is so terrible. The 2 Rioters just speaking out of their ass and the 2 kids in sponsored clothing that looks so out of place. Then we have Monte that is just so good but they cant have him talk anything at all from now on because he makes everyone else looks so dumb.

I'm convinced they put phreak at that table just so we can laugh at him.
