lol

That Hauntzer engage was so bad.

CLG going to get crushed at MSI.

Aside from the IWC, they'll have arguably the worst adc, mid, and jungle.

Well with CLG going I guess that NA might lose their pool 1 spot.

Incoming rageblade trists into my games even though it was sold and wasn't even involved in the last fight.

it just seems like with a trist combo like that, u engage, u dont get the trist, then gtfo.. dont dump damage into the tank echo with ga. lol

Hauntzer just totally botched that fight, he even flashed on Stixxay in the end, all by himself with 25% HP against a full HP Trist.

MSI is already in two weeks and looking at Huhis absolutely hilarious dmg in all the games I can't see them do well against all the strong mids coming. I guess it depends a lot on lol china.

Or, you know, to finally play a competitive match when all you do is practice 14 hours a day.

Two weeks between play offs and msi and then 3 between msi and summersplit is not enough time, they should move spring and summer split farther apart. The team that goes to MSI doesnt have enough time to take a break and be ready for summer split

Some massive drama going on lol. TDK, REN, TIP are forced to sell their spots and the team owners are banned by riot. More details on reddit.

It's common behind the scene knowledge that Monte doesn't actually own Renegades. Pretty much every pro knows it. No one can honestly deny it.

Yeah there always seemed something fishy about him actually owning Renegades.

What a debacle, no clue where they're gonna find 3 teams to take LCS spots in 10 days.

Froggen is such a beast. Got 3 solokills with really aggressive plays, really knows how much damage spells do and how to execute the plan. kfo was really good, rest of EF are carried pretty hard by those 2.

NA looks pretty decent this season, I think worlds are going to be interesting. I'm glad CLG is getting shat on, they overperformed at MSI while other teams underperformed(EU/KR in groups).

Yeah, CLG seems midtier at best. Mid and ADC just aren't great. TSM and Immortals are probably best teams, with Envy, Echo Fox, C9, Apex, CLG slightly below. After that comes Liquid. NRG and Phoenix1 tying for last place. Challenger is pretty stacked too. Apex, C9, Dream Team all seem like they have a shot at making LCS. Money well spent by Phoenix1 owners, supposedly they paid ~1.5m for the slot.

Probably the first time I care more about NA than EU.

I think Stixxay is good. HuHi is terrible, Stixxay literally deals dmg for two people in most games. Xmithie got some random praise by casters, which I didn't understand. His firstbloodrate is probably one of the worst among junglers(didn't check), he just walks around, farms and wards. Not really high impact at all.

Someone calculated ELO for professional players some real interesting stuff:

http://pastebin.com/ZinLBCUi

Darshan (1744)/Xmithie (1719)/Hai (1713)/Doublelift (1664)/Aphromoo (1801) is the all-time native NA team. Since Hai isn't active in NA LCS, the active replacement would be Pobelter (1551).

Converting to the division sort of thing, where 2% are in Diamond, 8% in Platinum, 20% in Gold:

Darshan/Xmithie/Hai/Aphro are the only NA players in Diamond, so CLG has every active Diamond ELO player. Stixxay (1573) and Huhi (1550) are both solidly in Platinum.

I might have missed someone, but the second highest active ELO for NA junglers is Meteos (1468) and he's in Gold ELO. Retired NA junglers TheOddOne, IWDominate, Crumbz all would pick up as second best native to Xmithie if they resumed their career.

Pobelter (1551) is the leading native mid laner. Bjergsen (1551) comes in as Platinum and not substantially better than Pobelter or Huhi. Still rates better than Froggen (1498) or Alex_Ich (1460) who are in Gold.

Interesting on the world stage, Huni (1849) rates as far and away the best top laner in the world, ahead of Acorn (1751), Darshan (1744), and MaRin (1723).

Last year's CLG team that won the summer split had the best native NA player in every position, including the two best mid laners, providing you didn't count Hai since he was playing jungle at the time. Jensen (1397) is in Silver.

Last year's Fnatic team was monstrous. Huni (1849), Febiven (1813), YellOwStaR (1804), Reignover (1796), and Rekkles (1540). Imagine if they had a Diamond ADC. They fell to KOO who had a big advantage at ADC Pray (1826) but were way behind top Smeb (1593). Spirit (1738) is comparable to Reignover, but Gamsu (1368) is in Silver, which sucks when you're replacing the best top laner in the world.

Some bronzies: Shiphtur, Cola, Mancloud, Kramer, Corn, NintendudeX, Brokenshard, Eve, GBM, KiWiKiD

NA LCS Rankings:

1. CLG (1677)
2. Immortals (1676)
3. TSM (1506)
4. TL (1503)
5. C9 (1502)

World Rankings:

1. SKT (1795)
2. ahq (1707)
3. RNG (1697)
4. FW (1678)
5. CLG (1677)
6. Immortals (1676)
7. ROX (1672)
8. Fnatic (1652)

Ziv/DinTer/Westdoor/NL/SwordArt the all-time LMS team at 1742 ELO would rate higher than the all-time NA team at 1728 ELO. Of course the Huni/DanDy/Faker/Bang/Mata 1890 ELO squad from KR should not be beatable. SOAZ/Diamondprox/xPeke/Hjarnan/YellOwStaR at 1718 ELO and Aluka/ClearLove/Xiye/Mystic/FZZF at 1717 ELO rate further behind.

If SKT had Easyhoon instead of Faker it would be enough to drop them to 1714 ELO, only a few points ahead of ahq.

Fnc fell to koo because huni got absolutely dumpstered by smeb. It was a mega stomp in the top lane. So a system that has smeb as considerably worse than huni is questionable

I started everyone at 1400 and used much of the same math as described here but I had to make some adjustments as LoL is a team game and chess is not. Some in the past have tried to do LoL ELO ratings by team but I decided against this approach as it would get quite confusing as team rosters change and new teams form By measuring individual players’ ELO I can still get a rating for a team that replaced some of its members or even give a rating to a team that just formed based on its roster’s previous experience. So the way I measured a team’s ELO was just the average of the players’ ELOs.

Well, this shows ELO based on dynamic queue. Players that have their matches in the west like Huni probably are overrated since they rarely have to queue up against the LCK and as a result can solo carry with great winrates. Like I kind of doubt Wolf is the second best support in the world, but if you queue up with Bang and Faker every week you're going to look like a star. And obviously Froggen is a great player but has not played on teams with a good shot at winning for two years.
