that is the thing with S5 so much of the edge isn't in the raw gold, in s4 it was basically only gold and scaling comps you could instantly look at gold/comp/map and know who was ahead now its a little trickier
Frozen Mallet Gnar sure seemed really annoying to deal with, but it did make him a lot weaker in the big 5v5 fights
For my esportsbetting I`ve gathered a lot of stats, from EU mainly at the moment, one stat was "gold lead translated into win". I have only half the games right now as I was a bit busy learning for exams but, 19/20 games with a goldlead at 20 minutes no matter how small/big translated into a win.
The average and median were around 1.5k I think. The only loss was H2K vs CW where H2K had a bad teamcomp and the opponents on CW had really good scaling champs. Right now I can only think of 1 game after these 20 where a goldlead didn`t translate into a win and that was EL vs SK. So it`s probably 38:2 or something. It`s different for NA tho much more sloppy games(lol coast).
I`d prob finish it tomorrow and then do NA on Sunday. Might take a look at Korea as well. Another stat that has been interesting is how fast SK takes their first tower.
I can only imagine how snowbally it must`ve been before with Dragons giving gold,so prob a good change from riot even though I personally disliked it at first but looking at these stats it makes sense, else "comebacks" are really impossible.
