Won an epic 85 minute game last night. We had all their inhibs down at one point, and they had 2 of ours down.

Their team had the advantage in the battles but we pushed better. I ended up telling my team to hide bottom while I ran top, I drew their whole team up and my team push a couple inhibs. Their team caught on and left me alone to destroy the base. I got the last hit on the nexus with about 300 HP to my name and my whole team was dead!

The other team couldn't rush because we had Pantheon and he could have just warped to their base and finished them, so that was kind of gay.

I don't even but any runes until I can buy tier 3, its not worth it.

I just bought two 32.4 HP T3 Quints and after I buy them someone (probably a 2p2er) tells me the T2.5 Quints from Halloween promotion are 1.2k less IP and 30 HP.

Basically I paid 2.4k IP for 4.8 HP.

I could have almost filled my slots if not for that blunder!

Hey do any of you guys play master Yi. I want to get multiple opinions on the order of items you guys use for builds. I have looked at lots of guides myself, but I just want to make it perfect!

I want some combination of crit, high atk speed, and some life steal . Just like with any Yi, he is not completely dependent on items, so there are a few options.

I usually go:

Boots, 3 health pots
Berserker's, recurve bow
emblem of vaulor and complete to get starks
B.F. sword
pickaxe, cloak of agility
complete infinity's edge
start to get parts for phantom dancer, but usually don't finish cause the game has already ended
not sure what to get next? Another phantom dancer? Bloodthirst?

Every time I start a new line I am basically returning to base. Think this is a good order of items?

I also like ex. calling and youmuu's ghostblade, but i don't know where to fit them in.

You can spend a few hundred on tier 1s, the yellow mana/5 scaling are like 15IP each.

Problem with this build is you have no damage early-mid game, and it will be hard to kill anyone. Its important to do well early because games are usually decided in the laning phase.

Yi is a good jungler, not so great in a lane. I assume your not jungling but laning so i would go :

VAmp sceptre ---> allows you to stay in lane and farm
Boots
Brutelizer
Beserker greaves
BF Sword
Finish Bloodthirster
Finish Ghostblade
you should be pretty strong now and easily kill any squishes. Next items depend on other team and how much your dieing. Whether u want more survivability get armor (atmas impalor) or magic magic resist (banshees viel). Or if you want lifesteal you can get starks. Game should be over.

Max alpha strike -- > wuju style and ult whenever u can.

Yi kinda sucks if the enemy has alot of CC, so get clense.

So f sick of playing with idiots, god this sucks. Like 2-12 in the last 14 matches with positive kdr in every game. Either get matched up with terribad foreigners or just feeding idiots.

What hero are you playing?

Whatever the team doesn't have. Typically a dps/tank hybrid (Garen) or a hard disable/nuker (Morgana).

Winning in low ELO / normal games is pretty simple IMO.

1) Don't feed
2) Don't overextend
3) Profit

Like poker, you win because your opponents are stupid. Not because you make awesome plays.

Besides a sick brag in a low ELO normal game (and not buying Void Staff at the end with 20 stacks), it astounds me that someone can die 12 times when you just crush the other team. The game is not hard yet people manage to be so f bad at it.

also, you will have ******s all the way until you are highly ranked in ladder. might as well not stress over the ******s and laugh about it. just use the idiots as meatshields and bait.

i didnt say you had to buy them. i obv have all tier 3 stuff but its not the end of the world if you get tier 1/2.

Hmm Ill try that item build. I do hear if you get the Ghost Blade you are supposed to do it first though.

Im at lvl 16 and been raping when teamed with equal lvl's as me.
My starks to Infinity's edge is working well. 7-3 last 10 games.

I would recommend NOT getting berserker boots. They are a very poor choice of boots. Ninja Tabi, Mercs Treads, and even Swiftness are better options. You want the boots to provide something rare: CC reduction, dodge, and even that extra speed over the opponents will yield better results than the 25% attack speed.

How about boots of mobility? I used to get these a lot when playing heimer and really enjoyed zooming around the map at fast speeds.

I like those boots on stealth characters not sure if it would be worth it on yi

i never played heimer with lvl5 boots but i cant think they are better than magic pen boots. minirockets are just too powerfull

Did you play Heimer before his big nerf? Holy dicks he was so sick.
