Vamp Scepter is still a risky start though. Cloth+5 gives the most sustainability, and sustain opens more opportunities, which should counter the cost of said potions. If you're super worried about spending a little gold on pots then you could probably get away with only a few to a similar effect.

But yeah, Tryn's ganks are pretty lame, and he's very farm dependant, making him a MUCH stronger choice for laning. Similar situation to Cho, who can clear the jungle very fast but has crappy ganks, and is also a real force in lane.

There any other champs that can go untargetable like fizz? Just saw a clip where he uses an ability, which makes him untargetable for a second, to dodge a karthus ult.

There are a couple that make you invulnerable. Hourglass, kayle ult, shaco ult(very brief), trynd ult. The mechanics aren't exaclty the same but similar

Shaco ult is the most clutch. I've seen it dodge cait/karthus ults.
