I got to admit hon is a "better" game but somethings about it are really annoying.

1st its 10x harder to get into, my first ten games I didn't know anything, that store is so confusing
2ndly in game character quotes are very monotonous and boring, I was playing alot of sillouette and she says basically 2 things over and over. While even the oldest hero like annie has 5 quotes and akali, sillouette's counterpart has about 15 quotes some of which which are actually interesting

people who troll draft and write "I'm gonna feed" should get banned.
unfortunately im sure they dont since it keeps happening all the time.

Anyone knows if people actually get banned in this game?

Gragas is just too fun. Really well designed champ imo. Just played a game where our team was pushing top inhib turret. We're doing some poking, and eventually they're low enough and I ult for a double kill. We push into base for the win.

yeah, try it. He's a pubstomp machine.

Not to get too defensive, but it isn't true that you just mash his buttons. There's some timing required to max his effectiveness plus I almost always build Yomu's Ghostblade which is another activated skill that needs to be timed correctly. But there's way less mouse clicking required than for say Kassadin.

If you want a pubstomper just pick Jax. No one knows what he does.

Gonna be expensive to pick up all that level 3 dodge **** that no other champ uses.

Graves is so OP, I actually can't fathom how Riot could have thought that he will be a balanced champion. "Ye, lets give this guy all the good abilities of other AD carries (smoke screen = blind, dash = ezreals blink/tristanas jump/caits backwards thingy, attack speed steroids after dash = tristana, etc.), that sounds like a good idea. Oh and lets make him tanky as **** too with his passive. Oh and ye, we know he is an AD carry but let's give him ridiculous amount of burst with Q+R combo (which is like unavoidable because of his dash). Oh and lets make all his abilities AOE too for a little extra balance".

Like, seriously.. it doesn't even feel fair whenever I play him and lane against like Ashe. And ROFL at his recent "nerfs" that you actually can't even feel if you adjust your play style a little bit. Riot will have to do something with him again for sure, something much bigger I assume. Any ideas as to how they could make him more balanced?

If you were Riot, which would you prefer:

a) Err on the side of new release champs being underpowered and then buff them?
b) Err on the side of new release champs being overpowered and then nerf them?

I'd go for b) all day if I were them. Power is sexy and makes players happy. And when they're nerfed people still play them cause they still have that sexy power image. Champs that are underpowered early get relegated to the trash bin and take a long time to come back when they get buffed.

Heck, even if they could release perfectly balanced champs it probably makes sense for them to make new releases overpowered on purpose. They get more money that way selling them, and then they can nerf them later to appease the e-sports crowd.

(this is all just me theorizing obv)

idk, some recent champs were completely terrible/underpowered on release and saw almost no play until buffs. Skarner in particular was pretty bad until buffs, now is very strong. Yorick was underpowered and basically broken on release, then got massively buffed into being OP, then nerfed again. Its variance really.

most of the heros they released are up, only orianna/talon/vayne/nocturne op on release in the last year I think? Its just a balance issue, riot finds it hard to balance assasins and supports for some reason.

You explained exactly what i thought about it. Make the new champ OP. Everyone buys him and a skin since they're in love. Nerf to normality, rinse repeat. Doesn't mess up competition because u can just ban the new char.

The more predictable it is, the easier it is to just commit to buying the new hero. They should have given shivan another gap closer and they would have sold twice as many skins. PPL would qq about op shivan... forget about graves, and then in 2 weeks same story.

no one played orianna for months even though she was the most ridiculous thing ever, and people play wukong more than yorick even though yorick is so strong

Riot likes to make money. Introduce a char that seems / is OP, everyone realizes this, goes and buys him. Wait 2 weeks, nerf, rinse/repeat next month with a new char.
