CJ losing to the #12 team in china is pretty embarrassing. They are like #3 in korea, has to be the weakest korean lol ever. GE are legit but it's very shaky after them

TSM has real equity in the final(especially since they are smart enough to ban lulu)

Ehhh. TSM might be a top 5 team in the world, but I'd think maybe 40% on blue side and 20% on red side vs GE. That works out to 17.6% chance to win a best of five. So yeah, I agree equity, but pretty big dogs.

I love WE` teamcomp, I haven't watched a single game of LCK so really can't tell if GE is overrated or just didn't try hard, but skill aside teamcomp wise I take WE allday.

FWIW, blue side won all the games in the WE vs GET series, red side won all the games in the TSM vs YOE series.

Really surprised at YOE's performance, could see them getting out of groups at Worlds if they make it there.

GE losing was for sure due to not preparing enough and underestimating the opposition at the IEM. The thing that usually sets the koreans apart from all other regions is the preparation and it was quite clear that GE wasnt as crisp in everything as they are at home.

As you could see in game 2 and 3 vs TSM is that they arent really all that good but mix some underestimation and bad prep and any team can do well. Their region and team name probably took them further than their actual skill.

One thing that remains true the easiest way to lose a game in competitive right now is to let the other team have Zed/Leblanc

It's bad when the mid-laners are equal skill, its god-awful if the enemy mid-laner is better, Faker singlehandily beat GET this year with Leblanc

YOE's equity dropped to <1% once Bjerg got Zed just never going to win, unlike Meteos's monster Rek'sai game, a mid laner will always snowball the game away

Especially with LB if you get even little behind it is very hard to actually have large impact in game. At least Zed can always split if he goes 0/2.
