i take the blame for the raka lane, triple gp/5 on supprot zyra wasnt as good as i thought...

although i agree, raka lane is still prob not the best.

somewhat inspired by the beginner question thread i need to work out a good ashe build. i'm pretty sure zephyr is involved.

i'm thinking something like tear/bruta/stinger/cdr boot/zephyr/black cleaver

somebody try caitlyn support its surprisingly effective. you try to zone and get away with as much harass as you can. make sure your adc knows if you get in trouble you can get away by yourself and not get themselves killed. had trouble with leona one time cus she was so tanky that my harass did barely anything but i crushed a blitz lane. sona can be a problem since she has almost as much range as you. if someone ever picks soraka though its so hilarious how hard you'd crush that lane.

I miss the good old double/triple dorans wriggles PD ashe build

caitlyn is also the most item dependent champion in the game

wellllll... she's also got one of the best early games as an adc and she has utility like the net slow and traps. not to mention she can put more damage on early game dragons or push towers better than supports. idk the point is you snowball your lane and help your other adc cus my problem with caitlyn when i play her adc is i just get too outscaled late game. I am not good enough to carry and take it home with this champ at lv 18 and I figured out a way i can play her and exploit her sick early game while our team still has a good adc to win the late game.

I actually have run caitlyn support. I agree it's good in lane the problem is she doesn't really do anything without items so later on you're going to be fairly useless.

I think ashe support is pretty much strictly better, you have a bit less lane presence than cait but much more utility after laning phase is over.

sona is strictly better than both other than really late game vs ashe

well i mean yeah, just if you want to play a ranged AD support ashe is easily the best one

ashe does have one of the best hard initiates though, if you're going against a crazy poke comp it might be better than sona

I would definitely get sword of the occult on support ad.

that doesn't work, you are as squishy as regular ad but without the dmg to protect in 1vs1 situations

Ashe build! Played a couple games with it and I'm pretty pleased.

Dblade start, standard AD runes/masteries for the most part. Make sure to run the 4% CDR instead of 4% attack speed in the offense tree. I also use 1 CDR blue, this will get to 39.83% cdr with the full build.

CORE: Brutalizer -> Tear -> CDR boots -> Stinger. Laning is difficult with this build but I think it's worth it. Ashe is just fairly weak in general in lane. Bruta is a pretty big damage spike though, I was able to pick up a surprise kill with it in my first game and snowball from there.

NEXT: Zephyr -> Black Cleaver -> Bloodthirster -> Infinity -> Manamune. Zephyr for movespeed, black cleaver for the utility. I like bloodthirster next because it adds more volley/turret damage than IE and you're a bit safer with the lifesteal. If you need to get a defensive item I'd get it instead of IE.

This build gives you insane engage with ult (54 sec at level 11, it's up all the time) and also disengage with volley. And although your auto attack damage is lower against champions, turret damage is pretty similar I think since you're not spending anything on crit.

Game 3 of new Ashe build, our team somehow got rolled by a Sivir lategame. Possibly the 800 AP leblanc, hard to say. Don't think a different build would have helped at all really, but I'm pretty sure the Sivir ended up doing more work than me and we even won the lane. So we'll see, I think it's a good build still but that kinda worries me a bit.
