Dorans -> sightstone -> talisman is a pretty standard pro level support build.

Yeah like the other guy said, dorans starts are pretty rare and risky in korea. Even if they start dorans, I don't think a single person has gone dorans-> sightstone all season

Yes I heard talisman is super popular there - but I haven't got to watch much OGN :/.

Active is very strong, 20% cdr is very good on supports like annie (not that annie gets through)

trend away from green with sweeping lens changes, more about pinks

In general korea sucks at picking new champs up but excels at strategy

EU does good with new champs but lags in strat

Darrien carried that game super hard. He gave time for Alex to get to Kayle 1-shot mode

Gambit when they are on mentally and prepared are a difficult team to beat. They lost the first Baron, and the first inhibitor, but never seemed like they would actually lose the game - that is quite an accomplishment.

like i get how huge this game is (as in sheer number of champs), but it boggles my mind to no end that such a statement about a pro could be true.... "they probably have no experience vs WW in lane".
Like this is their livelyhood and they're fighting for quite solid prize money in certain tournaments, how the **** can you not have exp vs ANY champion? was watching peke stream at some point and enemy had skarner and peke just kept saying, jokingly, that he's afraid to go on skarner b/c he has no idea what he(skarner) does. I'm like wtf man, what happens when someone in LCS throws skarner at you and you don't even know what his abilities are?

You took it too literally. They know what abilities the champions have. They just don`t know the dmg output and if they could win a 1v1 at a certain lvl. With my most played champs I always know when I can take out most of the normally played champs. But when I suddenly play against a skarner jungle and meet him in the jungle I have no idea how it will go.

edit:

In over 600 games I`ve played once against Sion and once against Skarner for example.
