you dont really need damage items on thresh since his kit is just pure CC. feed your carry, rely on passive

i generally start 3 green ward/1 pink ward/5 pot, you can harass a lot more in lane with the extra sustain from pots. i don't like starting rejuv bead, philo stone is really underwhelming especially if you don't need the mana regen, and you don't on thresh

straight into sight/ruby sight stone -> mobility boots -> locket -> aegis/bulwark or randuins depending on enemy team. you probably won't get more gold than that very often, but just keep going tanky i don't think thresh scales very well with damage

Thanks, so ill keep in tanky and will try games without spending the 520 on philo stone. I usually always get to locket and the game is in hand or im lost, so ill keep aegis/bulwark/randuin in mind. I'll be playing a few more tonight after i finish my business exam.

honestly i think that item is good enough (if enemy team has decent AP) that having two is totally fine, you both get the aura and you're still covered even if one of you dies

shiv might be better than phantom dancer but movespeed/attack speed is really good on ashe it's a lot easier to kite

disclaimer i haven't gone phantom dancer rush since the movespeed was nerfed way back when so it's possible this build isn't that great now but definitely worth a try

its the best for lane build, You can worry about optimizing for dragon fights or team fights when you are 30

What about Runaan's? Is this a good item on adc or no?

I play w my left thumb on space bar, holding it centers you. It's impossible to be any good with camera locked in

I'm bad and I agree. With an unlocked camera, you can see what's around you and have better awareness. You can set yourself in one quadrant of the screen and see way farther in the more important direction and have better reaction time to things that are going on. I'd advise just to get used to it. Maybe increase your mouse sensitivity or something. Whatever makes it easier for you to do what you need to do.

I usually click around the minimap so it auto-locks to me when I release mouse, I will try conditioning myself for the spacebar thing. fwiw I definitely realize what I'm doing is a problem, I just kept having trouble doing it the right way so I figured I was screwing something up.

Also what are some essential Ashe items?

Friend kind of told me what to do, sort of build for
1 vamp scepter
2 (get some boots -> berzerkers in there when i can)
3 build for inf edge
4 last whisper
5 phantom dancer

also possibilities, bloodthirster, guardian angel
blue(ish i guess) ashe is very fun, my favorite currently

dorans, vamp scepter, tear, boots, bt, zerkers, towards inf edge or last whisper, muramana when it's about to upgrade, inf edge or last whisper, the other one, defensive items

volley spam ftw

Just started playing unlocked screen after 23 levels with it locked. I love the extra vision in situations, but I'm way too newb as it is. Taking some of the fun out of the game till I get used to this.

Holding Space to temporarily lock onto your character helped me while running away from enemies while I made the transition to using unlocked. It smooths the "click/scroll/click/scroll" into just being able to keep clicking where you want to run while the screen follows you. Then you can let go of Space and you're back to normal

Yeah, holding down the spacebar is really helpful. Sometimes I lose track of my champs (I obsessively stare at the minimap when moving around the map... SC2 habits) and gotta just figure out where I am in a teamfight.

I feel like this space bar thingy is a crutch that slows you down. a few games where you manually figure out where your character is and you'll never need to space bar again

I think this is one of those things where once you are used to it, you forget how awkward it is at first. I recently started trying to condition myself into playing unlocked and it is actually a pretty slow transition. My brain is really tuned to focusing on the center of the screen, so it takes a lot of active effort to keep track of where action is going on.

My strategy is to start by playing unlocked while laning, and then switching back to what I'm used to in mid-late game when it gets hard for me to keep track. I've just been slowly playing and higher and higher percentage of the game unlocked until hopefully I am comfortable in team fights etc. playing this way.

I encountered the same problem a while ago after I promised someone a skin if they carried hard. 14 days if I recall correctly.
