ok fk this . just used my 3rd dodge. i was gonna have to lane top as trynd vs. a garen, and i know exactly how this is gonna go. he sits below his tower and i can't do **** against him except get up 60 v 40 cs, but that's not gonna cut it. I'm happy laning top vs something like a riven who will try to fight me and fail miserably
You sure a Bronze player will just sit under his tower and farm?
I don't like reddit, but you should definitely post this in a well constructed post. Great job man. I was in the "I don't think the odds are correct for 20 in a row" camp. I am gladly proven wrong with a smile on my face.
I feel like I ran above EV, but at the same time I'm not completely sure because if I were to swap my place with the best player on the enemy team in each of those 20 games (or in other words, swap my 4 teammates for their 4 worst players), I'm pretty sure I still would have won all 20.
Not really sure I want to post on reddit since account sharing isn't exactly smiled upon
Grasp at that straw as hard as you can, bro. You're being disingenuous if you think this isn't proof that a good player can carry any team. You know, it's okay to say "Wow, I guess I underestimated that"
I mean, he's obviously a great player, and carried some ****ty teams. But what sah is saying is that he actually got 'carriable' teams. I kind of agree. I was hoping to see some 3v5's happen and see what came of that.
I remember being in bronze league, obviously I couldn't carry like aesah, but just thinking back on how many games would start off 4v5 and still be close after 40 minutes, and a guy would say, "K gotta go to work", and leave... Or something similar to that.
In bronze league people don't give a **** about league of legends. It's not uncommon for people to just leave on a whim. Like hey, foods ready -> alt f4. Gotta take a dump -> sit in fountain for 15 minutes... etc.
He obviously ran above ev, but I don't think he realizes just how +ev he went. Either way it was pretty good to watch, and I definitely underestimated how hard he'd carry... I'm just glad he closed the betting before I could get my action in. Was thinking about putting down 500 lol.

if its a borrowed account obv don't, but if someone gave to you just offer the account up to the ban gods
I did not see the Tryn game but the only one that felt remotely losable was the Vayne game. The Azir in that one was doing some work, and your Annie had some good Tibbers stuns but there was a point or two where I thought it was going to be over. Probably when they got that baron I was thinking yikes but eventually you got through it. Karak made a good point on stream I thought about how they'd have such a tough time killing you in a 5v5, you'd stay outside and kite if needed and they would never really be able to kill you.

I had probably 5+ games where either someone on my team didn't connect till level 6, or afk'd for close to 10 minutes in a row. One time a guy danced in fountain for about 10 minutes ONLY because the first thing I said the entire game was "panth can you group with us" and he replied "fk you don't tell me what to you, this is what you get now". Also regardless of what percentage of the game people spent afk, I had FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR worse teams than the one you had in the game I spectated you on multiple occasions, even factoring in that your Lee Sin disconnected (after he had a very well played dragon steal). Also did anyone notice in game #19 my support was trolling with smite and clairvoyance- I still had 2 dodges left but I just didn't give a fk even if she went afk. But yea like I said in 20/20 games I witnessed, it didn't matter which of the two teams I was on, I would have won.
I'm not trying to say uncarriable games don't exist- there were several games where I was a bit concerned. In fact I didn't even think I was a favorite to win the bet, which is why it was 2:1 odds in my favor. However, my point is that they're probably not that common. Yea you might get a 3v5 once every 20 games or whatever, but it's definitely not the majority of games. Furthermore, assuming YOU'RE not the one to go afk, you'll get the 3v5 in your favor even more often- arguing otherwise is like when people say "no trust me man, I always lose with ace king"
The single most amusing thing to me about this ELO is that first blood was acquired by the like level 5 in literally all 20/20 games. After awhile I felt pressured like it was a race for me to get it before someone else did LOL
