Cubase with Waves I used for that track. No Pro Tools in my repertoire..

Monitoring in what sense ? Here's a snapshot of cubase playing the above track with a lot of goodies visible.

What speakers are you using? That's what I mean by monitoring. It appears you're mixing hot at 80 Hz and below (not enough between 80 Hz and 150 Hz), and have a huge mix bump around 3.5 kHz. I'm trying to figure out whether it's a monitoring issue or a mixing issue.
