So, the studio is being closed, sadly. They are doing a lot of reorganization and our traffic didn't make the cut, but good news is that live threads that are active now are being kept open and moved to the lounge, and any new threads on the topics here can be made there as well. the lower traffic threads will remain here. you can still read them from what i understand, we just won't be listed as a forum and it won't be searchable here. i will leave this open for now in case there are any question. please don't be arguing about it at this point though, it won't make a difference unfortunately. at least we will still have a place to post musical threads though. thanks for the run studio people!

Sucks to hear. Thanks for modding jmitch. I've been pretty busy the last couple weeks so haven't had much time to post here, but I'll make some time this weekend to post links to threads I think should be moved to the lounge so they can have continued discussion.

Quick question: The Economics subforum in politards is getting the axe, right? It will be absurd if The Studio is shut down but not Economics.

It turns out the good news that comes out of this forum being so slow is that with <200 threads, I'm just going to move them all (except for the stickies and deleted spam threads LDO). So TL;DR will have everything this forum did - and so much more!

But please be good Lounge visitors/residents, and don't go around bumping Studio threads just because. I'm looking at you, Lirv. But if you've got something to contribute, I'm sure they'll welcome you and the awesome Studio threads.

And yes, the Economics forum is done. It went first.

Yeah, that really is the hope - a stronger Lounge, and hopefully busier (formerly) Studio threads.
