No dimensioning feature [crap] but it's sposed to interface with MakerBots n
3D printers n stuff.

drawings are for improved grip-shifter idea for mountain bikes,
using a ball and spring for the indexer stops,
instead of a cheapo stamped flat spring.
[several of which I've thrashed in below-freezing weather]

I gotta find some1 with a 3D printer, too, ldo.

Lucky for you the link is to a place that does 3D printing!

from xkcd [the forum, not the comic, they're real g00t w/ futuristic stuffz]:
Quote:
A cheapo 3d printer belonging to an individual (filament deposition method) probably won't be able to capture the small feature sizes in that design - assuming the small spheres are important to capture accurately. Shapeways is probably your best bet.

Also keep in mind that 3d printing methods produce parts that are mechanically inferior to injection molding / more common processes. That is, if you're trying to make something that won't be 'trashed' as easily it may not be possible with 3d printing. Unless, of course, you're using it as a model or prototype as a stepping stone to the final product!
well...
I've got a cross slide vise on order, hopefully fits under my 50.00$ 12-speed Chinese drill press [that I picked up @ a pawn shop 10 years ago, IT DRILLS METAL!]
Ball-end or 90-degree end mills are ez 2 obtain.
If I can get em to properly place semi-tiny marker holes [the new MakerBot II's allegedly have 0.1mm resolution],
I'd be thrilled.
