I would assume at 15-30 live and below a lot of people would play whatever and not fold much. 2 low cards of different suits is an OK hand, so you use up a lot of cards with a bunch of people drawing 3. Wouldn't you run out of cards a lot and need to reshuffle or use community cards? If you reshuffle, wouldn't most of the redealt cards be bad cards?

in my limited live play experience at 20/40, we would routinely reshuffle in 7-max play, even with players mostly drawing 2 preflop.

i think what you're saying has merit, because most of the re-dealt cards will have been selectively rejected (for good reason) on prior streets.

Oh my, 7-players, there would be 17 cards left, so would often need to reshuffle after the first draw. Would effect strategy. You probably more want to make hands with the first draw. Might be more likely to draw fewer on each draw. However, lots of players to draw out on you.

honestly, didn't really affect my strategy except that i played tighter overall in 6-7 handed play while i was in later positions. and i think in general it's hard for me to conceive of times i'd change what i'd keep anyway, as what i value nowadays after the first draw tends to be more static

There probably are adjustments. For example, you should probably fold after the first draw, particularly to more than one bet, if you don't have much made, because it will be hard to draw to much after the reshuffle. Of course everyone else has the same problem.

You also might pat a weak badugi with a weak lowball hand or draw 1 with a mediocre badugi and mediocre low draw after the first draw when the cards are being reshuffled. Also, these games may be loose/passive without a lot of jammed pots. At higher stakes in like a 3-way pot, a good tri might be a much stronger hand after the first draw, and if you missed, you could maybe fold after the second draw.

in the 10/20 game I play, certain players routinely draw 4 (lolz) and it's a 7max. (utg sits out when it's a draw game in a 8 max). Def more than 60% dealer has to reshuffle.
