Hi all,
I had one of those dream hands last night. 1 CD (2347), last to act, 1 player completes, second raises, I 3-bet and it's capped. I draw goes 2-2-1 and I hit the nutz. Betting goes the same as pre-flop. Draw goes 2-1-0. Betting capped again!. River goes 1-0-0. 1st player folds as the other player and I cap.
Now, my question is, as soon as I hit the nutz, what do I do? Not in terms of strategy as I know player 2 was very agro and I was going to B/R any chance I could. But, do I snap call (check the bet/raise box), do I pause, take extra time? I try to take about the same amount of time for any action but in places like this I start thinking about it more.
Do you guys try to mix it up, keep it steady, or not even think about such things?

Bet timing? Eh, it's probably overrated, but I always was a bit more cautious when opponents clicked the auto box or raised quickly. I would generally try to keep an average pace.

Always plan ahead how you'll respond to any action from your opponent, then you can click immediately without giving off any timing tells.
It's always amusing when villains who usually take their time start mashing the bet button when they hit the nuts.

Keep steady. I usually take the same amount of time whether I am bluffing or am pat with the nuts. There is no reason to create a pattern unless you plan to take advantage of it later. Never snap call. In my experience, whenever someone snap calls and stands pat I am usually beat when it goes to showdown.
