I obviously agree, but I figure Stars would sooner add PLO8

I dont think PS will add any game to the current mix (I dont have any inside info or anything, I am just speculating), the 8game format is the same for the WSOP (and in the same order), I think its in everybody best interest that this stay the "standard" mix format.

And if one game were to be add, PLO8 wouldnt be top 3 imo, would go :

Well, I would hate PLO8, Badugi and Chinese because I'm terrible at all of them. I also agree that it's unlikely Stars will add a game any time soon. I just figured that if they do add a game, the criteria will be which game is most popular. I also think if they add a game, it should be a big bet game because the current mix has 6 limit games and 2 big bet games.

So, surveying which big bet games have tables running at .50/1 or bigger right now, we have:

PLO8: 9
5CD (PL only): 15
2-7 SD: 0
2-7 TD: Not offered, 2 .25/.50 tables

I think these are the only big bet games not already included, except for close variants like PLHE.

hell lets add b, nl2-7, 5cd and plo8.... 12 game is where its at imo, 8 game is for sissies baducei and chinese obv dont count as you cant actually play them on a major site.

Agree with a 100BB cap for 8game. When stacks get to 150BB+ the NLHE/PLO sections are where most of the money is won/lost, thus defeating the purpose of 8game.

I have a poll up at the holdem manager forum (HUD suggestions) to have stat boxes disappear during stud and draw rounds. Two days and 0 votes. If anyone is as annoyed by this as I am please take the time to go vote yes so they'll fix it.

I had a friend write a program that will process mixed game hand histories. It gives you a breakdown of net win/loss for each game in the 8 game rotation, plus number of hands and time spent playing each game. I play NLH since 2008 with good results and recently i've decided to take a shot to the new 5c/10c 7-game on FullTilt.

I've a basic knowledge of each of these games, but i play 7game more for fun than for money. So it happens that i lost some good opportunities to make a profit on certain plays.

I've played RAZZ more than StudHi and Stud8. But i've read something on Stud on SuperSystem 1+2. Bout Razz i've read something on Phil Hellmuth's book.

With PLO and Omaha8, since they are flop game, i'm more confident than with RAZZ and Stud(HI/8).

I'd like to know if there are some good books to make deeper my knowledge of RAZZ, StudHi and Stud8 and if there are some website with the indication of the best hands in each of these games with the indication of the Expected Value in 6max and fullring.

It has occurred to me that they don't so much need to add games to 8 games as they need to introduce new mixed games. This is because 3 of the mixed games offered: HOSE, Mixed Holdem and Mixed O8, never get traffic. They are wastes of space. To that end, it seems the best new mixed game would be "the big bet game" so you can chase people out of the pot. Something like:

NLHE
PLO
PLO 8
PL 5CD
NL 2-7 SD

The reason why I picked this is I have found that when a site introduces a popular new "Other" game, it tends to caninbalize from the other Other games. To solve this we need to bring in new fishy blood and distinguish it from the other mixed games. The majority of poker players dislike fixed limit poker, so lets give them what they want.

Id really see them intro Badeucey and mix it with 27TD and maybe add Badugi.

I wouldnt mind seeing a stud, stud8, razz mix. Or Baduecey, stud8, O8 would be fun.

I'd really like stars to implement a way you could create a mix of games from the availably spread games.

This would be ideal!! Would make it more like a real card room.

Creating your own custom mixed game tables doesn't really seem like Pokerstars' thing. Maybe Absolute or UB could attempt this.

It would be good if they could sync the tables, maybe play each game a certain amount of time instead of a certain number of hands. It would make multi tabling much easier if all tables were on the same game at the same time

I would worry then that people would start stalling in their bad games. Also, some games go much quicker than others so the hands / game wouldn't balance out very well.

Bo$$playa425 has to be the weakest tightest luckbox in the history of poker... So impossibly weak tight and yet is a big luckbox. I've never seen anybody in my life play sooooooo bad and get so lucky always

I bet his starting hand was almost exactly T9853. Or, he misclick patted the first draw. I was gonna criticize your pat but vs that guy's line it seems breaking a 9 would be quite a disaster

Even if he misscliked it still doesnt explain why he donk the flop and drew 1 after I flat

If there is one missclik in this hand its probably discarding only 1 after first draw (or 2 after second)

Yea I was gonna draw whether he drew 1 / 2 or 3 but when he pat I was like wtf and just pat back thinking I was either ahead already or drawing to 3 cards if not dead.
