Jokers Wild Strategy ajjustments

I'm playing a fun tournament next week. Where we're playing Texas, except there's an additional joker added to the deck. Just wondering what strategy adjustments you need to make? Given that 1/3 hands a player is going to be dealt a joker. Having sets is going to be more common as you now have a 1/5 chance of flopping one. Should a Joker be played like Aces, even if the other card is a 2 in your hand? After all you can make 4 card straight, flushes and trips on paired boards.

what does the joker count as when it’s on the board? full wild or ace and flush/straight card?

Joker is always a wild card. So yes, it can create some odd situations when it's on the board.
