SB will lead all d1. He checks. We have 67889. Knowing we are up against a d2/d3 and block two 7s and two 8s, I decide to keep the 9, and pat 3rd draw no matter what we pull.
2nd goes 2-1 x/b/c
We have 6789K and 3rd goes 1-pat
River x/b/r/c and we beat 22345
Obv luckboxed into “max value” and I almost folded river. I’d yet to see him x/r that spot for value and I was curious.
Never took that line with 6789x, IÂ’ve always d2. Is there any merit to this play whatsoever? I feel like given the action, we win the pot less than 5% of the time. But as a snow, itÂ’s more credible than 2-pat-pat in a blind battle and the blockers made the spot compelling enough to go for it
+1
May have attempted to get to SD cheaper on river but max value vs fish so expertl played by OP IMO
OT: Would have probably played until SB fish busted or left.
