TD2-7: 3-way capped pot pre, facing lead with 7643 on turn

No reads on the players. 5-handed game.

CO (me): opens 763KJ
BTN: 3-bets
SB: folds
BB: caps
we call

BB: D2
CO (me): D2: 763JK > 7643J
BTN: D1

BB: check
CO (me): check
BTN: bet
we call

BB: D1
CO (me): D1 : 7643J > 7643Q
BTN: pat

BB: leads out
CO (me):

Again, no reads. Seemed like a scary spot for me and my instinct was to fold given I'd probably be jammed up with only a 2 as a safe card.

Thoughts? Thanks.

It normally sends people flying out of their seats but I typically fold pre in these spots where I'm towards the bottom of my range and the relative position is bad. So easy to get stuck in the middle and jammed in.

Not opening this here, and turn is an easy fold.

I open around 33% from CO and 763 is in my open range. I think it's important to fold pre as you should be up against some combo of two D1s and pats and can't even safely peel the flop for fear of being jammed on.

Agree as played turn is an easy fold.

yikes. to me this seemed like a standard open 4-ways, but apparently not consensus, or at least towards lower end of opening CO ranges.

definitely noted about folding pre when action gets hot.

so i take it that 763 is marginal from CO?

If you can't profitably open this pre then don't play in the lineup. 2-7 is like any other game, if people are playing really tight then there's no point in playing.

As played I think it's a pretty clear fold pre. Vs a 3bet and a cap you're probably against a D1 and a 752/742. You'll have to draw perfect.

It’s towards the bottom of the range but I think it’s an easy open if that makes sense
